  Well I want to be more than a friend
  
  She is shy well mannered and a huge book nerd. I REALLY REALLY LIKE HER.
  I lent her one of my favorite books, Amikuk. A fictional novel about the life of a sea otter. Well she loved this book probably more than I do. And that's saying something. Well anyway I really care for this book it is like a family heirloom. It means a lot to me, but I want to see her happy. I cant find any copies anywhere, I want to give her my book. What should I do

  If it has that much sentimental value, don't give it away. If you really really care about her, sure. But explain to her why she should take good care of it. She'll be flattered you're giving her something that means that much to you.
