because the world is becoming more open. people can see and talk to people who they might never have met 20 years ago. you can find someone who is more perfect for you and you get to know them a hell of alot better. i still regret breaking up with my first internet crush.
and also, even if you cant see them today, or tomorrow, or even for a year or so... it just makes it even more memorable when you can see them. =)
i dont expect you to understand this dude, but i bet that anyone who has ever had an internet crush would agree with me on it. that this is why people date over the internet. because it doesnt matter how far away you are, you can still love someone. -

And when you date somebody over the internet, you aren't having a relationship based on sex, or what the person looks like. It's mainly personality when it comes to the internet. -

tongue NewbieLong distance relationships are just really inconvienient. I wouldn't put in that much effort. Maybe for someone I really met later on in life, but not someone on the Internet.
