JuliaIsJinxed NewbieI would appreciate it a lot if you could give me your opinion on this [:
I really like this guy....He's eighteen and a senior and I'm sixteen and a junior.
He stares at me constantly. When I catch him looking, he either cracks a smile or looks away quickly only to look back at me again. When I pass by in the hallway, he smiles and nods or stares.
The other day I hit my head in class and when I told him about it in conversation he wen, "Awh... are you okay?" and opened his arms for a hug. One day I was talking to him and this sophomore that I really don't know in the hallway, and the sophomore tried to put his arm around me, to which I went, "Uhmmm, could you...not do that?" and the guy I like said, "Yeah she doesn't like to be touched (which isn't necessarily true) So I said,"Nah, I just don't even know this kid, or even like him haha, therefore...don't touch me" To which the guy I like replied, "See, Julia knows me I could give her a hug,"... and then he gave me a hug and I said, "See, (His name) and I are cool..." So was he just illustrating a point or was he wanting to hug me? Gahh... I don't know. We've hugged before so it's not like it was a first...
Last week we had this fundraiser for the theater department (it was a craft fair) and I spent the whole day with him. He followed me around most of the morning while we unloaded people's cars and then when I had to run out to get more supplies, he didn't even give me the chance to ask if anyone would want to come with me before he offered himself up and hopped in my car. We spent a half an hour talking so easily and making jokes and it was really nice (: He really gets me. He laughs at my crappy jokes, listens to my stories, shares his too. He always tries to make me laugh.
Then he had to go help our director for part of the day and left. He came back ranting on to me and the girl I was running the ticket booth with saying "Life is like a box of chocolates, not because you never know what you're gonna get, because all of the chocolates are separated so if you want to be with one of the chocolates you cant. You can't talk to them all day but you want to.." And I can't help but think it was about me...? Also, when we went out to get more supplies we had to pick up my uncle (don't ask why...) so the guy I like was demoted to the back seat so my uncle could sit in the front. He kept staring at me and smiling in the rearview mirror...it was almost like he was taking advantage of the fact that no one could see him except for me.
He's met several members of my family and brings up how much he likes them in conversation pretty frequently.
But then again he will go a couple of days without talking to me or seeing me when we don't have a class together that day... He hasn't asked for my number, made a move (besides hugging me a few times) and hasn't really DONE anything about it if he actually does have a thing for me.
I know this was RIDICULOUSLY long and I'm sorry, but I could really use some input.
What's your opinion? -
angelic4 Novicemy opinion is he likes u, if u want him to get his number, just do this, tlk to him ur having a convo, but then u dnt finish the convo, say to him call me, he will probably say i dont hv ur number, then u, say oh yeah, then u give him ur number, but by the looks of it he really does like u take my quiz and u'll see its calles THE REAL DOES YOUR CRUSH LIKE YOU QUIZ by angelic4

he might just be a good friend. i'm not great with guys but if you two are ever hanging out just casually ask "Do you have a phone?" if he says yes ask "What's your number?". make sure it sounds like your asking as a friend. i also need guy help, so yeah im not the best person to ask but i hope this helps.

JuliaIsJinxed NewbieI saw him today for the first time in six days. I just walked up to him and hugged him. I missed him. And he seemed happy to see me, I think. I have rehearsal with him after school... I think I'm gonna ask for his number.

JuliaIsJinxed NewbieI had his phone IN MY HAND and didn't put my number in or ask for his. Stupid, stupid girl. My tongue was pretty much paralyzed. And that NEVER happens to me. I'm never at a loss for words... I ALWAYS say what's on my mind.
Anyone have any ideas how I can...get over that and go for it? -
act as if he were just a regular phone. when i asked my friend for his number it was kind of akward in my head but i just asked and he gave it to me. go for it!

in my earlier post i meant friend not phone. ask his friend to ask for you. it may seem immature but it's better than asking yourself and since they're friends it won't be akward.
