He wrote a poem about how worried he was!:
What has happened? I do not know.
There`s nothing I can do, nowhere to go.
I lie here wondering of her fate.
What if I failed? Is it too late?
...
I feel useless, worthless, unable to help.
I am nothing at this point but a whelp.
Where is my Roze? What has been done?
I list the outcomes one-by-one.
I`m scared and alone in my darkened room.
All this worry turns my mood to a gloom.
I have school tomorrow, and need my rest.
I guess I`ll curl up now and pray for the best.... -

That is really sweet! You are so fortunate to have met someone who loves you for being just you. Most guys that age only have one thing on the brain and what not, he though seems to be a gentlemen ahead of his time.
