Lets see, the only homosexual people i know are flaunting it all over the internet and trying to get supporters for an apparent war that I havent even seen the other side to. Sounds like a fair enough reason to be homophobic to me.

No homophobe started out homophobic. People were originally just uncomfortable with it. It's the religious extremists and the constant flaunting of homosexuality that eventually drove people to hate it and fear it.
