At least five people today asked if me and my friend were dating and now it's getting really annoying.

oh my goodness. i understand this completely, and i’m sure a lot of people do, especially if they were friends without the opposite gender throughout elementary and middle school (since that’s the stereotype).
my best friend in middle school was a boy and our classmates teased us about dating all the time. there wasn’t really a way that i figured out to stop them. people are going to say what they’re going to say, so if it bothers you or makes you uncomfortable, you should just try your best to ignore it, and don’t let it get in the way of your friendship.
i’m a bit contradictory in my statements considering that i’m literally in love with this boy now, and we’re on call, but.. xd -

People claim that others are dating eachother all the time, don’t let it get to you.
If you actually aren’t dating then everyone knows, it’s kinda a joke
