Thread Topic: A common misconception between two words
-
Relationships are more or less built mainly around someone saying that someone "likes" them but rarely would you hear "love." and often people seem scared of it. The word love I mean. It's as if saying it to someone you realize you have feelings for scares them away and it's rather stupid. If you where to look up "like" in google you wouldn't find it having a relation to "love" at all, so for that to be a means of confession is unnatural to me. Love means other things too. I mean, sometimes it's just having a strong belief or care in someone. Like is more close to having a similar interest in the same things.
But keep in mind it's my own opinion. If anyone has other conflicting views just say so :/ -
I agree with you

O.O honestly I think a majority of people don't say I love you in a relationship because they feel vulnerable once they say it like
" s--- now they know my heart is 100% theirs they can break it whenever they wish"
And that my friend is why we have so many people building walls around their emotions because they feel like if they shield themselves they'll be okay.
O.o plus if you break up with that person it hurts.
Like badly
And if you date another person it'll be a while until you'll be able to say "I love you'
Unless you did the thing with the like and yeah
Then you'll just throw the words around and be all " oh yah love"
But yes darling you're like 100👌 I agree.
