I thought that when someone hurts you, you AVOID them not crawl back to them like an idiot...What has this world become? Thank god for the smart ones that are left...I'm an idiot, dad seems to make that clear all the time...

You're not an idiot. When you love someone, even if they've hurt you, you still want them, that's what love is, it's rutheless and sexy: Thinking of no one else.
That's what Phillip Pullman says in one of his books. xD -
I suppose, but letting a person hurt you, despite your love for them, is just ridiculous to me.
Books give pretty good advice, sometimes.
