Do you think this is true? don't kill me, please. As a fellow closet peeper, i'm worried my closet will be opened and out will fall Jae.
I have a friend, let's call her B for privacy issues, and she's bi, and I feel like she's onto my case. On multiple occasions since last year, she's asked questions like "Do you have a crush on anyone?" "Have you ever dated a guy?" She stopped asking when she knew about my relationship problems because I talked to her about them, but I never really specified the gender of the human. So now she found out the human is gone, and she's asking again. Today she asked the question that took me by surprise when we were in English class, though. " have you ever dated a girl?" Now let's take a moment to reflect this, how would you react if out of nowhere your friend ask you "have you ever dated a girl?" I started panicking because I try very hard to hide my sexuality from people, but liek... when they slept over at my house a couple months ago, they also kind of saw things. I have pictures of someone I frequently contact in my closet, let's call her C, and I think she saw C when I opened the doors. Now it's not a freaky stalker shrine, but it's the basic pictures of someone, nooo, not nudes, just a normal x cringe x selfie, but C was also at one point my screen lock. (>.> I wasn't molesting C or anything, I just told Mrs. G. about them last year for the Romeo and Juliet project, so that's why I also had C there. I'm not some sort of weirdo with them like that one dude from the horror movies.) I feel like B might have picked up hints along the way, though. Sometimes comments like " .o. that girl has pretty eyes " slip out, and liEk she just stares at me for a while probably thinking "wtf?" So after she asked me this I just answered with a "nooo.... not in real life..." because it's the truth i'm death silently irl to the point I have to shove a friend over to ask a question for me, thank you social anxiety. Anyway, she got this really weird look on her face, but just said "Oh, okay." And so we just moved on doing what we were in class. After class she was silent to the cafeteria, but then Nathaniel and Madi were there and everything was back to normal. I haven't stepped out of the closet because A) family, and B) It's not time. Do you think she knows something is up, or are they just being curious and trying to know what's going on in my mind?
Once again, I am sorry for making so many threads on different forums, it's just that life rn is really confusing. thank you in advance. -
I think some people have that innate sense, but from what I'm seeing, she may just be curious because she saw the pictures. People are naturally nosy, especially when they're left out of the loop, seeing the fact that your very private and don't want to come out yet, they don't want to assume your straight and hurt your feelings (at least that's what I think).
I myself can't tell what sexuality people have, because I think literally everyone is flirting with me all the time, even when they're not, and I just shut it down and tell myself I'm crazy. So that's just me :) -
The world would be pretty boring if we all embraced heteronormativity, so I entertain the possibility that everyone's a little gay until they explicitly state that they're straight.
