  I hate it when a friend betrays me, especially if we were close.

  I've never had that happen in the way you probably mean. If I did I'd say to them, "You do realize this hurts me right?" and if they said anything I didn't like then, BAM they'd gain a black eye and lose a friend.

  I've considered many times just not having friends, but at the same time I cannot stand being alone I hate friend betrayel. And backstabbers.
