What would you want in a writing/fanfic website?

Thread Topic: What would you want in a writing/fanfic website?

  When looking through the thousands of quizzes people have made over the years which are basically original stories and fanfiction rather than quizzes, I started considering whether it might be worth creating a sister site to GoToQuiz that's focused on that type of content.
  
  Of course, there are plenty of sites like that already, from the barebones (Archive of Our Own) to the super sleek (Wattpad). I haven't personally used any of them, though. What are the desirable features of that sort of website?

  commenting features are great, so you can have feedback and discussion.
  
  i also love the selection of options they have on ao3 to narrow down a search!
  
  text formatting is also a great little thing to add, so you can have block quotes, bold/italic/underlined text, maybe even different fonts.
  
  i think that a cover art option for your writing could be a good addition as well. this is something that ao3 doesn't have, i don't use wattpad but i believe it has that option
