I'm thinking of getting one just in case but want those slim ones, not the bulky ones. I have one of those at the moment and it's not that good.

well first of all, what operating system do you prefer?
I use a MacBook Air for school and it's slim af but it's also Apple so -
I just want one that will get job done for school, and one that runs at least at a decent rate. I don't want to spend 1k on a laptop though, I'm looking for one that's $500 or under

Oh, and one that can support video editing and gaming, I don't care too much about graphics quality, since I already have a console
