two lazy things from tonight
One messy and incorrect in colour headshot of Rumi
And one cringey-but-colourful pic of Yukiko shamlessly ripped from this Dragoart thing (it IS Dragoart so it was probably already stolen lmao) -
Okay so
Things I need to do
* Do an actual headshot of Rumi
*Experiment with her different expressions
* Stop colouring with highlighters
*(Maybe) redo ref #1 of Rumi -
still having some of the same problems
mainly me too lazy to study objects to see how they actually look instead of just making semi-identifiable lumps
but I just wanted to see it with actual colours -
the way you draw skirts is really cute
you're also really good with expressions -

I did do a quick sketch of Yukiko in what I consider my "real style". Just kind of experimenting with it. She looks like she's trying to explain something. Probably trying to justify a racist comment she made.

I also did a "redraw" of this thing from three years ago. I'll probably redo it in more detail later, since the anatomy is wonky (I didn't use any refs).

Honestly, I hate drawing in that style so much. I don't know why I keep subjecting myself to that torture and constant feeling of inferiority. Hopefully my art fever has passed now and I'll go back to crumpling all my drawings up like I did until this one hit. -
