Context spam time!:
Anyone remember a roleplay I did soooo many years ago called "Diamond Eyes"? No? Good! It was awful! And the art I did for it was even worse:
So I decided to redraw them! Then I accidentally stumbled upon inspiration and was like "okay but what if there were more color people? What if the separate colors are tribes? What if there was more story and plot?" And then I designed the red guy (favorite!!), green boi (baby!! Luv him), orange boy (long hair don't care!), brown dude (hella nice, the kindest!), and gray person (nonbinary baby,,)
And they all have kinda somewhat of a story? I know for a fact red boy has a boyfriend from the pink tribe (I'll explain why in a sec) -
A common attribute in people from the pink tribe is wide hips, even in boys!
Red guy is in a band and while on tour he met a pink tribe guy and they fell in love 😍 red's probably the most famous of the bunch! Green is the youngest! Brown is the oldest! Orange is the most wealthy! Purple is the most mysterious! Blue is the most bubbly! Indigo is the shyest! Yellow is the most sporty! -
More context spam before my phone dies:
Diamond eyes is a concept I made back in middle school, so the story is actually a lot more edgier than it appears.
The basic gist is: The more death/violence/abuse they've seen or been through, the more the diamonds on their eyes grow. This goes for the entire species, but the lineup I've drawn is a collection of the youngest people with diamond eyes/the youngest people with mutated diamond eyes.
The basic story I've made is: Someone from a tribe (Blue maybe? She was the first I've drawn) Calls on the other tribes and is like "send in your youngest people with diamond eyes to this camp so they can go through rehabilitation, and also this project will bring more unity to the tribes" and this is like all I've got hashed out haha.
More on mutations: Red guy is best example. His diamonds developed only on one eye, which is not how it works. Orange guy has diamonds on both above and below his eyes, developed at the same time. Indigo's eyes go past her face and don't go up at all. Violet's left eye (covered) goes up instead of down.
How are diamond eyes supposed to develop?:
The diamonds develop downwards first. They go all the way to the end of the face, then when space runs out on the lower face they start developing upwards (look at green boy for example. Though his diamond eyes are heartbreakingly large, they're developing correctly). Then, god forbid this happen, but after the diamonds get so big that it reaches the top of the forehead, then the diamonds begin to grow on both the top of the head and the bottom of the head. Till it gets down on the neck and chest, and on the scalp of the head, covered by hair (look at poor gray tribe person for example) -
Fun fact: Brown tribe is the most peaceful tribe! Super kind, super nice, and all around friendly people. That's why brown boi the the oldest, because when they said send the youngest people with diamonds eyes the brown tribe only had him to send! And you can barely see the diamonds on his eyes because he hasn't seen nearly as much as the rest of the group!

D&D character known as Sella Rosewood, she used to be a chair lmao. She eats grass even though she's a druid and she can hear their screams..
Also, I really wanna update the art guide but damn those posts take hours to make and I be busy tho -
She so gorgeous!!! I love her outfit, her hair, everything! Like. Wow. The symbols on her hand are a nice touch. I also see that wood detail. 👀
