Are great.
Anyway ^~^ hi, i'm Jae i'm 15, and i'm a aspiring hair stylist/ makeup artist.
^~^ I have a love for dolls and had made a thread like this a couple years back with the same concept
Except I was like 13 and practiced on barbie dolls.
Now that i'm older i'm practicing on a bigger canvas
Dolls with moving parts.
Anyway, in here i'll post haircuts/ wigs modified to fit dA model, Raven.
This is art
It involves me using acrylic paint and other things in order to achieve my goal.
Anyway, yeah.
Brb literally in like 6 minutes I'll post my first wig on this doll and the process. -
So the original color of this wig was white blonde unfortunately I was stupid and forgot to take a picture of the wig before I added in the colors and cut in the layers
But yeah, here's the wig color at the bottom and it started out about 5 inches long?
Color on the fingers because who needs gloves -
The colors I used was from Claire's
I used the cream hair dye they have, it comes in a bottle and it's about four dollars each bottle
I used bubble gum pink for the top
Purple Grape for the next set of layers
Blueberry blue for the fringe
And the colors seemed to blend in with each other by adding smaller quantities at the bottom so that created violet at the bottom. -
Don't mind the numbers, I was just choosing what pictures to post from like the 100 I took Dx sorry.
Anyway, I continued to dye the hair until the f---ing blue ran out so I ended up having to use mostly purple and pink and mixed violet

I ended up letting it dry for about a day so that the color would stay in and today I retouched it

Yes, those are Crystal eyes that bjd usually have.
I'm really hesitant on doing a face up because the doll is liEk so sensible and I don't want to f--- it up yet. -

Anyway, made an emoooooo wig for raven it's kind of brown-blackish it took forever to cut and style it but I like the end result.

I got side tracked and now i'm like wtf

O.o um yeah, the wig started out at 5 inches dark brown with a middle side parting.
After calculating where the f I was going to cut so that it resembles my hairstyle, I ended up cutting 4 inches off and getting it lookig like this:

Okay so I figured out that the reason so many artist put those band things on dolls is so that their hair stays in place when their doll's have layers.
In the process of making another wig and probably going to redye the other blonde wig soon to other colors. -
I'm also still thinking about doing a faceup like i've already been told but I mean
I suck at painting
And like
I feel like i'm going to ruin the face and i'm going to be like, ";0;" and yeah.
o.e I hate their lips though look at them. -
