Thread Topic: Please take this as a cautionary tale
-
Yesterday I drew for 10 hours straight
the day before I drew for 6
the day before that, I'm not too sure
this wasn't very much drawing but everyone has different limits. Please know yours
Today I drew practically all day with little breaks, but it was a little late for me
I'm now sitting here with a weird stabby pain in my wrist and a wristbrace on to combat the effects.
Take lots of breaks when you draw for a long time. Get up and stretch every so often. Drink water. Take your meds if you have any. Eat. Do not just hermit-up in your room and just draw.
Remember to take care of yourself
Seriously if I drew this much everyday all day, I'll have carpal tunnel by the time I'm 20. Do not end up like me.
Right now I have to give it a rest. I can't draw for a bit to give my wrist a rest.
this is going to suck a lot but if i want to keep drawing, I have to stop.
Health before art, remember that, folks.
