Nowell then spun around and glared at Sveta "And you! Chimera! Next time you knock me out when someone is after us, I'm ditching you."She didn't say it cruelly, more of a broken and frightened way.
She turned to Karla, then sighed "I suppose that was our fault, I'm sorry." -
"Oh no, that's fine. It was my fault for being so stupid and sticking around." she replied, and began to say something else when someone in a military uniform came running towards them.
-
Nowell nodded, and then blinked at the approaching person.
Meanwhile, back at Central, Mustang had gotten word of a girl fitting the description of his daughter. -
Rupert ran up and shook Karla's shoulders, practically screaming in her face. "Where were you?! I was so worried when you never got home!" The librarian stod there for a moment, shocked, and practically shouted back at him. "You creeper! I told you had other things to do and you went to my house anyway?! Are you stalking me or something?!"
-
LOL
Sveta blinked, her blue eyes bright as she looked at the random officer who had appeared.
Nowell pulled her hood down tighter, and held back a giggle. -
I gotta go, see you tomarrow?
-
Awww, yeah I suppose.Dx
-
Lizzie!
-
Oh yay :D
The two continued argueing for a while, and finally came to agree to disagree. "I'm sorry about that, he's rather pleasant when he's not screaming in your ear." Karla said, while the other turned away and grumbled. -
"Um, who is he?"Sveta asked, blinking.
Nowell just stayed quiet, honestly she didn't like talking much. -
"I'm Rupert, State Alchemist and her caretaker." "Self-appointed." Karla added.
-
"State Alchemist?"Sveta asked, a edge in her tone.
Nowell continued being quiet. -
"Yeah...why?" he asked, catching the slight note of hostility.
-
"No reason."Sveta said simply.
Nowell finally looked up with a smile, gray eyes bright "Well, it was nice meeting you, but me and my companion must be going."
Mustang sighed, he should have known placing them in Armstrong's custody wouldn't help anything.
He'd have Nowell escorted to him, if only to give her some peace. -
"Nice meting you, too. Wasn't is?" Karla answered for the now silent officer. She smiled, and began leading RUepert away.
