A lot of the episodes from the earlier series were not important to progressing the overall plot of the show. Though we did get a sense of what most of the characters were like outside of the Shinobi biz, it got old very quickly. It's an opinion of mine, though, and if you like the series enough, you'll probably eat it up.

Forgot to add above: It sometimes felt like the action and/or fight scenes lasted an excruciatingly long time, which kind of put me off of watching it initially. That being said, I did enjoy the universe and all its characters.
He's a great character. xD -
XD Haku's death was sad
i like the fight scenes -
The manga's faster but it's nice to see the fights and story fully animated

So like...my friend. She was wearing Sakura socks. And she called them quote on quote "Naruto's girlfriends socks" and I got so pissed.
