Thread Topic: Can anyone suggest some anime shows for me?

  I'm already a die-hard fan of Hetalia and Dangan Ronpa a little bit, but I'd like to expand my horizons, you know? Broaden them out.
  
  I love tear-jerkers. One's that make you feel things. There should be a little bit of fantasy thrown in there, such as a talking bear (Monokuma) in Dangan Ronpa and England's mythical creatures in Hetalia. (Comedy works too.) I love an original plot, and a diverse variety of characters. That's vital.
  
  I would not like to see: "Sakura Hashimoto is a 16 year old girl going to a new school as an exchange student! Follow her and her high school adventures!" No no. That's too bland. Let's not.
  
  So to sum it up, an emotional rollercoaster with fantasy and a good plot and characters. Yup yup. That's the ideal anime show for me. Any suggestions?
