Demon/Angel Love Story (Part 1)

Okay, I'm making a love story between an angel and demon. They're supposed to be on totally different sides, so it's basically a secret love. So... yeah, that's basically what it's about.

  1. For years, demons and angels have been in war. It's your normal disagreement: good against bad. They have never tried to see each other's point of view. Queen Angela ruled over the angels, who believed in the ways of good. And King Flame ruled the demons, believing the world should be filled with hate.
  2. Let me make this clear: angels are NOT only female. They wear mostly white and gold. And yes, they have graceful, white wings. And as you might guess, they lived in the clouds.
  3. The demons look like what you'd call the devil. Red horns stick out of the sides of their heads. Only male demons grow tails, and the ruler is he only demon you'd find carrying a pitchfork around. Their skin is NOT red. It's the color of your normal human's skin tone. They live underground, with pools of lava and rocky edges. It's basically an underground cave.
  4. Time to meet the main characters! Alex is the son of Queen Angela, making him prince. His dad was killed by devils a few days after he was born. He always loved to hear the tales about his dad, and how brave he was. He's 17, has golden hair, and like all angels, he's surprisingly mortal.
  5. Ember is the daughter of King Flame, and yes, she's the princess. But she doesn't like being called princess. She prefers "Junior Demon". Her mom was shot in the heart by Queen Angela, causing her to die. Ember had never met her mom, but wants to be just like her. The only way to kill demons was to shoot them with an angel's bow in the heart, their weakest area. Like all demons, she had fire power and could control it as well as lava. She's 16 and has bright red hair that glows when she uses her powers, or when she's upset.
  6. Alex ran his fingers through his golden hair. It had been a busy day, with royal duties and such. Even though he was a prince, he still had lots to do. If being a prince was this hard, Alex couldn't imagine what being a king would be like. He was 17, and royal angels are usually crowned at age 16, but Alex had asked his mom if he could wait till he was ready. His mom understood and agreed. His mother was younger than she looked, but that was normal. Angels and demons always look young. Alex sighed and approached his mom, who was talking to another angel. Angela looked worried, but when she saw her son, she smiled. "Mom?" he asked. "Yes?" she said gently. "What's life like for the demons?" Angela looked at her son and shook her head. "I don't know. But i bet it's horrible." Alex perked up. "Their life is horrible for them?" Angela shook her head. "No, they love it. I mean that they choose to be bad, for goodness sake!" Alex nodded. "Speaking of which, I think the demons just launched an attack," Angela said, worried. "What? What can I do?" Alex asked. "Another war's obviously about to start. I suggest that you just stay away from it," Angela said. "But I want to take part in it!"…
  7. Ember smiled. They had just launched a surprise attack on the angels. Soon, the world will be ruled by them! "Dad, that was wicked!" she said. King Flame nodded. Soon, an arrow flew past them. "Look like they're on the attack, too," King Flame said. He focused his energy and created a ball of fire. He sent it over to the clouds, where the angels called home. Ember smiled. Her dad was the best. He was protective, but not too protective. He always had time for her. He had sent out the demon armies outside so they could have better shots. He had sent spies disguised as angels. It was awesome. So awesome, that Ember wanted to do it, too. "Hey, Dad?" she asked. "Could I be a warrior, too?" Flame looked at his daughter and smiled. "Since you're only 16, I think I'd rather you be a spy." Ember nodded. She didn't mind. Soon, she was dressed as an angel. "Now remember, water will ruin the disguise," her father reminded her. Ember nodded. "If you're caught, you always have your fire ability." Ember smiled. "Okay, you're good to go." She went with the other spies into the world of the angels. "Okay, act like your average angel," a spy told them. As they split up, Ember couldn't help but feel…
  8. Ember scanned the battlefield. The angel's soldiers were on the edge of a cloud, shooting arrows. There was a female wearing a crown watching them. Probably the queen. She hid behind a bush, which surprised her. She didn't know plants could grow on clouds. "What are you doing here?" someone beside her asked. She turned and saw an angel with golden hair. Thinking he was another spy, she asked, "Oh, um you're hiding here already?" He looked at her, confused. "Um... how did you know I was hiding? Why are you hiding?" Ember gulped. Turns out he was a real angel. "Um, I just wanted to see the battle up close. Why are you hiding?" The angel looked at her. "Can you keep a secret?" Ember nodded. "I'm Prince Alex, and my mom wants me to stay away from the battle. But I honestly wanted to take place in it." Ember grinned. Her dad would be more than proud if she killed the prince!
  9. "Hey, we seem to have a lot in common..." Alex said. Ember looked at him like he was crazy. "No, trust me. We don't," she replied. "Well how do you know that?" Alex asked. "Um... I'm not really into... royal stuff." Alex smiled. "Me neither!" Ember groaned. How did he think this. She was ready to launch her attack when he asked her, "What's your name?" Ember paused. If she told him, he would find out who she was. She had to think of a fake name, and fast. "I'm um... Rose," she said. Alex smiled. "That's pretty." Ember rolled her eyes. Was he seriously falling for this? Killing him will be easier than she thought. She focused on her energy her hair turned to flames she was about to launch her attack when he asked, "Are you okay?" Ember couldn't handle this. "Ugh! Please let me focus!" she screeched. Alex looked at her with wide eyes then smiled. "I understand you want to focus on the war." He picked up a bow and arrow and stood up. He was wearing armor. "Well, I don't want to bother you anymore, so bye! Wish me luck!"
  10. "No, wait!" Ember said. She was not going to let him go away. "Hm?" Alex turned around. "After today's... war is done want to... hang out?" she asked. He nodded. "Sure! I think I'm going to stop after lunch so I can see you sooner, if you're okay with that." Alex honestly thought she was a normal angel, just one who lost her temper sometimes. She sounds fun, and he would really like to get to know her better. "Um, I'm perfectly fine with that!" she said. Alex nodded and rushed to the battlefield. He aimed his arrow when he heard someone say "Alex?" he was surprised and his arrow went flying in the air, just to land right beside him. "Alex, I told you to stay away!" Angela said. "But, Mom, how will I ever be a good king if I just sit around and do nothing?" "How will you be a good king if you're dead? Those demon are more powerful then you think. They're harder to kill, too." Alex sighed. "But I know you have to get them in the heart! They're not immortal!" Angela put her hand on Alex's shoulder. "Please, son. I don't want to lose you too." Alex stared at her. "Okay," he said, finally giving up. Angela smiled. "Now, please, go far away from here." Alex sighed and ran out of the…
  11. Alex sighed and sat down on a bench. All his hopes of being in the war were gone. He wasn't sad because he couldn't be in the war. He was sad... because he almost broke his mother's heart. She cared for him as much as she cared for her husband... Alex's father. Who was killed by the demons. This was right after he was born. He had never met his dad. He sighed. "Hey, you left." He saw Rose sit beside him. "I just figured that maybe it was best if I didn't do it."
  12. Ember started up her energy, finally seeing her chance. "Mom didn't want to lose me... like she did Dad." Ember stopped her attack. "You... lost your dad?" she asked. Alex nodded. "That's... terrible." And she wasn't lying. She lost her mom around the time she was born. Her mom was in a weak state, after giving birth. An arrow was about to shoot Ember in the heart, but her mom went in front of her, only to be killed instead. "You didn't know?" Alex asked. Every angel knew about the loss of their king, or that's what he thought. Ember smiled, but frowned right after. She just couldn't kill Alex. She'd leave that to someone else. She didn't want to see his face once he realised who she really was.
