Cursed Pt 2

Hmm, welcome back! :D if your here that - hopefully - you like this series. But if you've come to bash it...Get the heck off!!!!! Yes I'm crazy. Thanks for asking!

So in this part, Aden learns new things and there's a little surprise at the end. Sorry this one is a little longer. I just want it to be REALLY good! And I use names instead of doing the ______ (name space) because it's just easier for me to write. Sorry if it bothers you. I just think you can pretend that you is Aden!

  1. What is your age?
  2. What is your gender?
  1. "No." I repeat, glarning at Daniel. I can't believe any of this. Either there all mental or this is a VERY good prank. "You know," Daniel says, crossing his arms over his chest, "you were never this difficult." I bristle. "I don't freaking know you! All I know is that you walked in with Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum along with my friend. And all I've heard is that I need to come with you guys. Hell will freeze over when I go anywhere with you." I finish, my arms crossed over my chest. We glare at each other. "You were never this sarcastic either." Ren says. I shoot him a glare, hoping it works in the way I want it to. It does, making him look away. "Stop." Jade says, standing close to Tristan. My anger deflates when I see him. *I watch as the little girl and boy chase each other. When the little girl chases him and he looks back at her, he runs into the wall. The little girl runs over to him and he looks up at her, his eye fresh with tears.* "Bella?" Jade is closer to me. "What?" I ask, not wanting to share me losing my mind. Where had that come from? The little girl and boy, running around? "Ren, can you take Tristan out to the car." Daniel says, watching me. I start squirming under his gaze. Did I grow a leg out of my head? Ren nods and takes Tristan by the arm. "I'm fine." He says, but he has a slight limp when he walks. I hear the door shut and get jumped with questions. "What happened? Did you see something?" Question after question. The words start bluring together, making my head spin. "I don't know!" I yell. "I'm losing my mind and my life has been turning all weird since I woak up this morning." I hear Daniel mumble under his breath, "AND she has a temper. What next?" I ball my hands into fist. I'm not usually this angry or violent. But I think today is an exception. "I get it. You don't want to go anywhere. Can I give you a day to think about it?" Her voice is gentel. "Sure." I say, wanting more than anything is some sleep and for them to leave. I don't know what Jade's gotten herself in to, but I don't want to have anything to do with it. She hugs me. "Please listen to me. I don't want to see you get hurt." I hug her back. "I'll be ok. Promise." And she let's go. "Come on Daniel." Jade starts walking to the front door. But Daniel doesn't move. "Sleep well." He says, still angery. I close my eyes not to say anything that I might regret later. When I open them, he's gone. The front door is closed, even locked. I sigh and climb the stairs to my room. My bed has never looked so comfortable. I take off my old clothes and put on my pjs. As I lay down I watch as my necklace slowly dimmes until it's back to the way it's supposed to look.
  2. *The monster runs through the town, hissing and spitting fire. People scream. Houses catch fire, blazing brighter than the stars. The monster was strangely humanoid with the body. But instead of hair, he has peeling skin and something oozing out of the cuts. Were his eyes were supposed to be were black sockets that sunk into his face. His skin was transparent and paper thin, stretched over his irregular bones. His lips were thin and blue like a corpses. And he was hunched over, but his spine stuck straight up. Woman gathered the children, the men grabed there pitch forks and muskets. And they fought the monster. But the monster seemed amused. Instead of fighting he clawed at the humans, tearing the skin of and exposing the muscle beneath. Men curesed out in pain as they were torn apart. And, above them all, was a tall man, watching his creature destroy his once neighbors*
  3. I wake up gasping for air, tugging the sheets off of my face. A shudder rubs through my body and I don't know if it's from the nightmare or the bitter cold air in my room. I bury myself under the blankets, escaping the cold so I can think. Because I can't really remember yesterday. What happened? I start when I woak up, I feel like I dreamt something important. But what was it? And later when I was walking home? I shake my head, hoping some information will shake loose. But nothing comes. Then there's when Jade showed up. I remember letting her in, talking to her, but that's it. So what happened? Irritated that I can't find anything out I get out of bed and head for the bathroom for a shower. Ten minutes later I start looking through the mail, looking for something that's for me. When I find nothing - no surprise - I check the time for the millionth time. It's twelve-forty in the afternoon. How tired was I? I search the fridge for something to eat, coming up with a pear and a sprite. I glance at the oven and my stomach clenches. I hear someone fall to the tile and hit it hard. What happened last night?
  4. When Chloe calls and starts complaing about the snow - "I can't stand the cold! And snow is evil." - I only half listen. My mind keeps going back to when I woak up. Why couldn't I remember my birthday? "Hey Chloe? Did we do anything yesterday?" Dumb question but I had to ask. There's silence then I hear yelling. "Please Chloe? It's new snow and it's all puffy and white!" "No Raven! I told you I don't like snow. Now go play with Jaden and Sara. Even ask Trey. I'm sure he would love to play with you." "Fine." Raven mumbles and I hear the door slam. "Hello?" I say. Chloe sighs. "Here. And no we didn't. Why would you ask? Don't you remember? I got detention." "Oh." Is all I could say. "Please don't be mad at me. Blame the snowstorm." "I'm not mad at you. I just..." I look at the wooden box, "have to go." "Kay." And I hang up. My hands start to itch, like I need to do something. And I do. I slowly open the box, half hoping there's something in it. And half hoping its empty. And sitting there is the disappearing note.
  5. I grip the end of the counter, trying to breath right. I feel dizzy and my head feels like something is trying to crush it. All the pressure is giving me a headache. With a shaking hand I grab the folded yellow paper, holding it gingerly like it might crumble. The paper smells like old ink and something else. Flowers. It's a familiar smell, like I've always smelt it. I unfold the paper, not wanting to read it but at the same time I do. 'Bella, if you are reading this, please understand that I ment not to harm you, but to save you. And that I'm so sorry. I could not let him have you. Life for you would have been living hell. I hope your new life is wonderful and you don't remember. I wish I could have done something, but your fate was written before you were born. Please forgive me. I love you Bella and I always will.' Water hits the shaking page, sliding down and smearing the words. I don't care. I slide down the fridge, only stopping when I hit the ground. This letter is from one of my parents. They wrote it for me. I flip the page, not wanting to stare at the words on the front. None of this makes since.
  6. I sit on the cold tile for what seems like forever before I can move. My stiff body cracks and I grimace. I'm only sixteen and my bones shouldn't make that noise. I grab my phone and dial Jade's number. I need to talk to someone, anyone. I bite my lip and pace the floor, waiting for her to answer. When I almost give up I hear a click and then "Hello?" "Jade?" I ask, then realize thats it's a dumb question. "The one and only." She says groggily. I hear her yawn and the bed creaking. "Your still sleeping?" I ask. "Was. But you know I'm not really a morning person." Me neither. I laugh and for a minute I forget why I called her in the first place. Then I hear paper crumble. "I need to show you something. And I need to talk to you." "Ok." A door shuts. "Shoot." I start telling her about I can't really remember yesterday. "Wait. Like, at all?" She sounds worried. "Yeah," I say, "I think I dreamt something the other day, but I can't remember. I remember going to school, walking home, but I feel like I'm missing something. Then I get home and you show up. That's all I remember." I hear her intake of breath and she mumbles something that sounds like "It just gets easier." "There has to be something wrong with me." I say. "No. There's not. Not really. I need to come get you. If I sent one of the guys..." She trails off and I stand there. The pressure in my head grows until I feel sick. I run into the bathroom and start throwing up into the toilet. I hear Jade talking to me, but her words are lost on me. I keep hearing voices, and I start seeing things. Sticky black things wrapping around me, three guys in my house, each hotter than the sun, and one of them, Tristan, hitting the oven. "Jade." I cough and flush the toilet. I grab the phone with a slick hand and sit with my head between my knees. "You need to get here. Now."
  7. I drag myself out of the bathroom and lay on the couch. The windows are open and outside it's like Winter Wonderland. The bare trees are covered with snow, icicles hanging from some branches like jewels. The ground is fluffy and white like a blanket. The bushes look like there painted, almost unreal but beautiful all the same. How can the world look so pretty and in one piece when mine is falling apart? I feel like I just woak up in a different place, confused and scared. So I finally believe Jade. I can almost hear her saying, 'I told you so.' I bury my head in my hands, feeling stupid. How had I not noticed it earlier? Like when Jade and me were seven and she lifted one side of the couch up so she could look for her doll. Or when we started junior high and we got detention, but the teacher then told us she had been unfair and we were off the hook. Maybe I didn't want to think that the impossible was VERY possible. When I hear the front door open I don't even look up. There's only one person who has a house key that isn't my mom or dad. I lift my head and watch as Jade walks in, the clacking of heels is the only sound. "You look like crap." Is the first thing she says. "Thanks. Just what I wanted to hear." I sit up, not wanting to lay down.  She shakes her head. "Sorry but it's the truth. And I want to thank you for those lovely gagging and puking noises. Just what I wanted to listen to." I just shoot her a look. Her expression softens as she sits by me. "Ok. What happened? Still don't remember anything?" I shake my head and tell her in a rush. When I'm done I feel dizzy, thanks to lack of oxygen. And Jade looks confused. "So, you remember everything AND you found a letter from you dad?" "It was my dad?" For some reason it confuses me. I thought it was from my mom. "No. Your dad. You were a daddy's girl and he was the only one in the right mind to right. Your mom took it hard. In a way your like her. When she gets angry, confused, or depressed she just gets icy. Like you." "And the dream? Was it real?" I'm scared to hear the truth. Can I just turn back the time to before my life got jacked up? Jade's looks melts away and I see what she really feels. Sad and happy. But as soon as I see it, it's gone and replaced by her bright smile. "Yeah. Not one of my best memories. We were all destroyed. Even the kingdom. You were there princess. Sweet and kind." I raise an eyebrow. I might be kind but sweet? So I'm not the best person. I've gotten in trouble in the past, more than some people might think, and I'm a fast and furious kind of girl. Forget the glitter and skirts. I wear leather and even have my brothers Kawasaki Ninja 250R in the garage. Not that my parents would ever let me ride it. Even with my permit. Like I said. I like things fast and impressive. Not that I don't have my girly moments. Like when I see a pair of shoes for sale. Or if I see make-up I like. "Trust me. You were a TOTALLY different person. When we moved here and I saw you..." She doesn't finish. She doesn't have to. Back when we were six and met, I had been wearing jeans, shoes, and my little leather jacket over my favorite shirt. It had been the first day of school and she showed up wearing a bright yellow dress. Lots of girls made fun of her at recess. "Look at that dress! Mommy says that yellow is the worst color!" Brittany had scrunched up her face while other girls laughed at what she said. I had walked up to her, the guys and girls that I had been playing with following me. Me and Brittany didn't get along ever since she 'accidentally' tripped me and I landed in mud. "Leave her along!" I said throwing my hands on my hips. Yep, first grade and already acting five years older. Brittany laughed. "And what will you do? She's a freak!" She pointed a finger at Jade, who was red in the face and looking at her feet. So I pushed Brittany and watched as she fell in the dirt, shrieking like bugs were crawling on her. My friends were laughing behind me and one of the guys knuckle bumped me. "Hi," I walked up to Jade, who was looking at me all confused, "I'm Aden." "Jade." She said. "Don't worry about her. She's just mean." and Jade smiled. One of the teachers yelled at me, demanding that I go see the principle. "Uh-oh. Got to go. See you later." I waved to her as I went inside. And after that we had been attached at the hip.
  8. "I need to say it." Jade says, jerking me back to the present. "And don't yell at me. I really think you should come with me. And don't snap at me and say no." I shut my mouth. Damn she knows me. "But why?" I ask, almost in a whining way. "Because there's a bunch of ugly things out there. And your hear by yourself. Remember yesterday? When you passed out." I shuddered. Of course I remember. The cold and numbing pain. Not something I want to go through. Ever again. "Fine." I pout, hating that she beat me. Jade looks smug and stands up. "Better get ready. We'll need to leave soon." I start going up the stairs. "Ok. But your driving alone. I'm taking the Ninja." And before she can say anything I shut my door.
  9. Jade's red truck turns to get off the highway and I follow. The music in my helmet is loud and I concentrate hard on the words. I need a distraction so I don't think about me leaving my home. I force myself to watch the road so I don't crash. So I'm not the best driver. But I'm good enough that a cop wouldn't pull me over. Unless he notices how fast I'm going, I'm good. Wherever Jade's taking me is either in the city or in the middle of nowhere. I hope it's the city. When we come up to a stoplight I look at the tall buildings and fast food joints. I can smell the grease, even through my metal helmet. I wrinkle my nose. Maybe living in the city isn't the best idea. Someone honks behind me and I have to move faster just to catch up with Jade. A car comes up to the side of me and the driver flips me off. Great. I've already made a friend. I follow Jade as she turns here and there. When the buildings start to get smaller and the air smells a little better, I start paying attention to the landscape around me. There's fields that are covered with dirty snow and trees that look brittle. There's some developments here and there, but when we turn, the homes disappear. There's only bare trees and snow. Great. We're going to the middle of freaking nowhere. I spy some splashes of color and find that some trees haven't lost there color and leafs. Some trees are deep red, bright orange, and green. So this little forest hasn't died. Yet. The trees start getting greener and the snow starts disappearing. And then Jade goes down an unmarked road. I follow, more out of curiosity than anything. When we come into a clearning, I can't help but gasp.
  10. The house is in a meadow. Or is it a lawn? The grass is tall and a lush green. Large trees surround the house, all of them looking healthly. Small bunches of flowers litter the grass, all of them a different color. The house itself is breath-taking. Its a two story and would put any house to shame. It's painted a soft white and has a flat roof. There's two large pillars holding up the porch roof and there's windows everywhere. It's modern and has an old fashion look to it. And I just love it. I cut the gas and leave the bike where it is. I'll figure out if I need to put it somewhere later. Jade's already out of her truck and seems unfazed by the building. "Ready?" She asks. "You LIVE here?" Jade shrugs. "Yeah and no. The other guys live here but I just started to live here. And yes my parents know where I am." She opens her passenger door and I grab my suitcase. My hand shakes and I try to stop it. I get it down to a slight shake, but it wouldn't stop. I sigh, yank my suitcase out, and walk up to the house, trying not to look nervous.
  11. When I walk into the house I get blown away by how normal it looks. There's black leather couches in the front room and a flat screen tv. There are some small pictures hanging on the wall that are of the three guys. Jade brings me into the kitchen, which is all stainless steal and granite. "Just drop your stuff off. I'm going to find the guys. Wanna come?" "Um sure." Better than being left here by myself. Jade goes outside first. The backyard is like the front except it has a porch with a Bar-B-Q and a sitting area. There's even a pool that's huge. And in the pool are the three guys, shirtless and wet.
