Are you annoying?
A short story....Not about being annoying... She could hear the hooves pounding on top of the frozen ground but couldn't move. She just lay there shivering. Jamie!Jamie!â?? She heard her mom yell Im over here! She screamed Jamies mom Picked her up and carried her over to a oak tree while the heard came thundering past. Jamie was a pretty girl, eleven years old, blonde hair, blue eyes and brown freckles spotted across her face like sprinkles on a cupcake. Are you OK? Her mom asked Yea, She replied I fell off my bike and hurt my leg; But I am fine now. All Jamie could remember was the bay stallion, His flowing mane, sweat covered fur. Jamie followed her mom inside. She could smell chocolate chip cookies baking in the over. Jamies mom put on her blue striped oven mitt and took out the cookies. She handed one to Jamie. Eat up, She said you must be hungry after so much exploring! Thanks Jamie replied she ate the cookie hungrily and then guzzled down a cup of milk. She grabbed her blue goose down coat and pink gloves her grandma made her last year I am going outside, OK ma?
Sure, But be back by supper.â?? OK, see ya Before Jamie left she filled up her blue jeans pockets with sugar cubes. The air was sweet and there was little flurries making there way to the ground. She knew it was going to be a good day. She followed the herds foot prints in the mud until she saw them grazing on the little bud of grass sprouting up. She climbed up a tree and watched them for a while. She dropped a sugar cube onto the ground. The lead stallion, not knowing she was there walked over and ate it. She could see how strong he was just by looking at him. A branched snapped and he looked up. The herd started galloping away. Jamie just sat there watching. Then climbed down from the tree and walked home.
