You have just plundered a merchant vessel and you are looking for the closest port so you can spend your riches. It is pitch black and a storm is brewing. Then you ship becomes in the water. You think you have hit a reef. But then you feel a huge impact of something huge hitting the ship and next thing you know, you are flying in the air and land hard on the ship. You start to black out but you here someone yell Kraken! You start to wake up but not able to see clearly and the rain feels like needles against your face. You hear something fall in the water. You hear laughing, crying, and yelling. You now realise your hands are tied. And you here a sinister voice say "To the depths!" followed closely by the sound of metal cutting something open. And you hear something fall into the ocean. Then you hear a thud of something getting closer. You hear the voice ask "Will you serve?" Then a familiar voice says yes. You here the footsteps get closer and closer. Then the person lifts your head up. You start to see clearly. You see the most sinister and inhuman face looking at you. He asks "Do you fear ? Do you fear that dark abyss? All your deeds laid bail, all your sins punished. I can offer you an escape. Join my crew and postpone the judgement." You ask if there is an other option. He says that "You either serve or die!!! But there is a alternative."
