Apollo's Curse (part 6)

This is chapter/part six in my story, Apollo's Curse. You will eventually figure out why it's called Apollo's Curse. If you haven't taken the first 5 parts of this, then I suggest you do or you'll be terribly confused.

  1. Chapter six:As Percy disintegrated the monster, I realized that the only thing I can move was my head. Which was pretty good because then I can talk which means that I can tell Percy that I'm frozen. "Megan, right?" Percy asked me as he ran up to where I was standing. "Yeah I'm Megan and you're Percy", I said with annoyance in my voice, "now can you please tell me why I can't move?"  Percy looked at me in confusion and was about to reply when a helicopter came down and landed not to far from us. Four people got out of the helicopter and they all had guns.
  2. Percy turned around and uncapped a pen that turned into a sword and charged straight at them. The guys with the guns pointed them at him which made Percy stop running like as if an invisible wall was blocking them. Then one of the guys turned his gun directly at my head. 'Wow this is the second time today that I've gotten a gun pointed at me', I thought. He fired the gun and I screamed, thinking that my scream would stop the bullet.
  3. Something suprising happened, when I screamed the bullet disintegrated and I was unfrozen. I don't why I did this, but I looked up and saw a glowing figure, of what looked like a lyre, floating above my head. It wasn't the only symbol that I saw though, I saw a miniature trident and a shoe with wings glowing faintly around the lyre.  A blinding light was erupted and when it was gone, the helicopter and the four guys were no where to be seen.
  4. I felt different and I noticed that I was wearing new cloths. I had on a yellow and orange stripe shirt, with flowing sleeves, and it was tighter around my ribs (but loose enough to be comfortable in) and it stopped right before it reached my abs. I was wearing shorts now, and I noticed that I had on a golden necklace that looked like a golden sun and below it a golden bow and arrow. I had a golden circuit/tira around my head, it was just above my eye brows, and golden arm rings around my biceps and forearms.
  5. When I looked up I noticed that Percy was looking at me like I've sprouted wings and I was about to fly. "It looks like you've been claimed", he said. "What does that mean?" I said while putting my hand on my hip and sticking that hip out, like I always stand. "It means that your God parent claimed you as their child." He replied, "did you see the symbol?" 
  6. "Yeah it was a lyre with a miniature shoe with wings and trident circling it." I said, " what does that mean?"  "I'll explain later when we get to camp half-blood," he said with a serious look on his face, "it's probably best that you don't know who you really are yet."  "Umm ok then? Where is everyone else?" I asked while looking back at the place where I last saw them and realized that they weren't there.
  7. "We're right here," Dakota said while running up with my other friends to come and greet us. She was in front of everyone else by a long shot because she does cross country. "We thought you were dead," Jake said as they all stopped running and were trying to catch their breath. "Well obviously I'm not," I said sarcastically, with a smile on my face. "Good," Jake replied, also smiling, "don't ever scare us like that again."  "I won't, I promise. Now let's get to that camp thing for people like us," I said.
  8. CLIFF HANGER!! haha that wasn't a very good cliff hanger but, oh well.
