Apollo's Curse (part 2)

Sorry that this is another short chapter. Pretty much chapter 1 to chapter 5 are pretty short, and then chapter 6 is kinda short too and then pretty much from chapter 7 and up are kinda long.

Please comment and rate. Please tell me how I did and try to ignore the shortness, I promise that it will get longer.

  1. Chapter two:"Haha you really think that we are gonna believe that you did this?" I said with a chuckle in my voice. "Well you should, for you are a demigod." Lauren replied. "A what?" Dakota asked, completely confused. "A demigod. It is a person who has a god parent while the other one is mortal." Lauren said it like she's explaining it to four year olds. "Um yeah I don't think we are demigods." Jake said.
  2. "Oh really? Only demigods can be unfrozen when I freeze time," Lauren said, "this must be my lucky day, for I have four demigods all for me to capture. Of course I might need some help with you, Megan, for you are the strongest of the bunch." "Haha is this some kind of dream or something? Is it like a hidden tv show or something?" I said while I was looking around for a hidden camera. "Enough!" Lauren screamed, "now, are you going to come with me nicely or am I going to have to knock you out and force you to come with me?"
  3. "Um how about neither because I really don't feel like getting up." I said with one of my best pouty faces on. "Fine, have it your way," Lauren said, "Brooke, it looks like they chose force." "Oh what a fun day it is today," another voice said that I was guessing is Brooke. Then both Brooke and Lauren turned into these horrible creatures with wings, two on each side, with faces like birds but with no feathers. "Ewww gross! That's disgusting!" Aliana exclaimed. "No dip Sherlock." I said sarcastically.
  4. With a horrible screech, the creatures attacked. The first one dove straight for me and I barely had enough time to dodge it or else I would've been slammed against the table. The second one went straight for Dakota who was thrown back into a frozen person, but luckily got up and she didn't seem hurt so badly. They attacked again but this time they went for Aliana and Jake. When the creatures got close to them, both Aliana and Jake dove under a table and was shielded from the bird creatures.
  5. "Haha You guys are going to have to do better than that in order to escape!" One creature called. With that, they both dove straight for me and I was knocked into a wall and my head must've hit it too because everything seemed fuzzy. When I could finally see clearly, I realized that one of the creatures had a gun and it was pointed straight at me. The creature said,"nighty night for now," and pulled the trigger that sent the bullet straight into the side of my belly.

  7. Sorry about the shortness in this chapter/part. As the chapters go on, I think they get longer. I know for sure that chapter 7 is pretty long.
