Are you ready for...
Our "When Will I Die" Quiz?

  1. What is your age?
  2. What is your gender?
  1. First off, I just want to say that this is my first quiz and it might not be very good. I just want to thank specifically, natuhleegayle, HogwartsLove, bluebird, and spottydinosaur for inspiring me to create my own Harry Potter series.(PS you should read theirs if you haven't already) I thank anyone who is reading this because I may have used your ideas to make mine and I don't want to take credit for anyone's ideas. I would also like to give credit to my favorite show, H20: Just Add Water, which gives the idea of making you Australian and a mermaid. (Yes, you are a mermaid in my story.) Anyway, sorry if I'm holding up the story. So thank you again, and I hope you enjoy it!
  2. You and you're two best friends, Matilda and Charlotte, are moving to England to go to Hogwarts since you're mum got a job at the Ministry of Magic. You're father was killed by Amycus Carrow, a death eater, so you live with your mum. You moved from America, but you are originally from Australia and have lived there long enough to have an accent. You're all starting your third year at Hogwarts. Matilda and Charlotte are coming with you because they want to go to Hogwarts with you. You're a mermaid, and so far, only your mum and Matilda know about it even though Charlotte is your best friend. Matilda knows because she is one too. You both have powers. She can turn water into jelly and harden the jelly. She can also move water. You can heat up water instantly, freeze water instantly, move water, and turn water into jelly and harden the jelly.
  3. Until school starts, the 4 of you stay in the Leaky Cauldron while your mum moves things in your new house. You, Matilda, and Charlotte are hanging out downstairs when your mum comes. "Do you girls have everything you need for school?" she asks you. "No, we didn't even get our letters yet," Charlotte explains to her. "Oh, that's because we just got them," she says while giving each of you your letters. "We're going to go to Diagon Alley now," you tell your mum. "Can we get owls?" you ask. "Ok I guess, but you're cleaning the cages yourself and when you're done, come back here," she said while walking upstairs. The 3 of you enter Diagon Alley. After about 2 hours, your arms are filled with books and owls in cages, one for each of you. You had everything you needed except a wand. You broke yours on the way to England because you accidentally sat on it. "Let's go back now," Charlotte said. "You go ahead, I need a new wand," you tell them. "Ok, just meet us at the Leaky Cauldron like your mom said," Matilda said as they walked away. You walked into Ollivanders and set down your stuff on a nearby table. You got a 10" brown wand. (me: I'm not going into details about the wand.) You put your wand in its box when you realized that you still had all of your books to carry as well as your wand and your owl. When you picked up everything, you didn't even have any free hands. You walked out of the store when a boy about your height bumps into you and makes you drop everything.
  4. 'Great,' you think. 'Just great.' You bent down to pick up your stuff. "Oh, I'm so sorry! Let me help you!" the boy said. "Thank you, I guess," you say to him. You look up to see you're facing a very red boy. No really, his face is really red. He hands you the last of your books and you both stand up. "I'm Neville Longbottom," he says to you. "It's nice to meet you Neville. I'm _____ _____," you say to him. "You aren't from here are you?" he asks you. "No, I'm a transfer from America but I moved to America from Australia a year ago," you explain to him. "Oh, well that's cool. Do you need any help carrying those books?" he asks you. "No, I'm ok," you answer. "Well, I guess I'll see you around then. I'm a third year at Hogwarts. What about you?" he asks. "Same here," you say. "Well, I really should get going." "Ok, see you in school. I hope you'll be a Gryffindor!" He yells to you as he walks away.
  5. You begin to walk towards the Leaky Cauldron when 2 red-headed boys stopped in front of you. 'Great, more distractions,' you think. "Excuse me, can you please move?" you ask them. "What do you think Fred, should we move?" one boy said. "Oh I don't know," the other answers. You stand there for about 10 seconds when they suddenly move out of your way. "Thank you," you say to them. The boys don't leave, though. They just stand right next to you. "Let us carry your books for you," one boy says. "No, I'm fine," you say to him. "Ah but we insist," the other boy says. You didn't want to argue so you just let them hold your books. "Where are you going?" they ask you in unison. "The Leaky Cauldron," you reply. "Oh, well let's start this walk by introducing ourselves. I'm Fred and this is my brother George," the one on the left said. "We're fifth years," George said. "What about you?" Fred asked you. "I'm _____ _____, an exchange student. I'll be a third year," you say to them. "Where are you from?" they both ask you. "I'm from Australia but moved to America a year ago," you explain just as you got to the Leaky Cauldron. You all entered it. They put your books down at a table. "Well, we best be going now," George said. "See you at school, _____, and we hope you'll be a Gryffindor!" Fred says as he and Fred walk back to Diagon Alley.
  6. "What was that about?" Matilda asks you. "I met them in Diagon Alley and they wanted to carry my stuff for me," you explain to them. "Well, I don't like them. They look like trouble," Charlotte says. "Well, they're really sweet. I also met another guy in Diagon Alley," you say to them. "Really? What did the other guy do?" Matilda asks you. "He accidentally made me drop my books and helped me pick them up," you explain. "They all told me something though," you say to them. "What was it?" Charlotte asks you. "They kept saying that they want me to be in Gryffindor," you say. "They probably are in Gryffindor and like you _____," Matilda said to you. "That's probably true," you say. "What house do you guys want to be in?" you ask them. "I want to be in anything but Slytherin," Matilda says. "I want to be in Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff," Charlotte said. "What about you _____?" they both ask you. "I don't know, I mean, I want to be in Gryffindor to talk to the boys I met. I also want to be in Ravenclaw because I hear people are really smart there, and maybe thy could help me with schoolwork. Then again, Hufflepuff sounds cool, and I just don't want to be in Slytherin," you explain. Just then, your mum comes downstairs. "Girls, come upstairs now to help me pack," she says. You all walk upstairs with your mind still on the boys and school.
  7. A week had passed since you went to Diagon Alley, and now you're going to Hogwarts! Matilda's mother had arrived a day after you went to Diagon Alley and offered to drive you, Matilda, and Charlotte to Platform 9 and 3/4. You're mum wished you good luck as you left the Leaky Cauldron. You promised to write to her every chance you got. When you got to Kings Cross Station, you realized you had no idea how to get to the platform. Then you see Fred, George, and his entire family. They walk through the wall between Platforms 9 and 10. "I know the way!" you say excitedly. "Well, then, lead the way!" Matilda says. You do exactly what you saw the boys did and you find the Platform. "You did it _____!" Charlotte shouts. "Let's get on the train," Matilda says. You, Matilda, and Charlotte get on the train and wish Matilda's mum goodbye.
  8. The 3 of you get on the train and try to find a compartment where all of you sit together. Unfortunately, you couldn't find any. "We have to sit separately I guess," you say. You pass by a compartment with 3 boys that look like they're in Slytherin. "There's an open spot here. Does anyone want to sit here?" you ask. "I'll do it!" Charlotte says excitedly. She knocks on the compartment. A blonde boy opens the door and looks at her. "What do you want?" he asks. "Can I sit here since everywhere else is full?" she asks him hopefully. "Are you a pureblood?" he asks her. "Yep, so is _____ here," she says pointing to you. "What about her?" he asks pointing to Matilda. "No, she's a muggleborn," you explain to him. "Are you friends with a mudblood?" he asks Charlotte. " I won't let you sit here if you are." She bites her lip. "No, I'm not friends with these two freaks," she tells him. "Good, feel free to sit here," he tells her. Charlotte jumped with joy and walked in the compartment. "So just because I'm a muggleborn means you hate me when you don't even know me?" Matilda asks him. "Yes, I don't want anything to do with you people," he says. "I guess you're a pureblood," you say to him. "That's right," he says proudly. "I guess you're those selfish arrogant ones my dad always talked about." "Did you just say that to me?" he asks you. "Yes, I did. Now have a good day," I say to him as you and Matilda walk away.
  9. "I can't believe you just said that!" Matilda said to you amazed. "He deserved it!" you shouted angrily. Just then, a boy stepped out of his compartment as you passed by it. "Could you please stop shouting?" he asked. You turned around to face him. It was Neville! "Neville, it's good to see you again!" you said to him. You gave him a hug and he returned it. You turned to Matilda. "Matilda, this is Neville, the boy I told you about last week." "The one that made you accidentally drop your books?" she asked. "Yes, that one." "Well, it's nice to meet you Neville," she said to him. "Neville, this is one of my best friends Matilda," you say to him. "It's nice to meet you Matilda," he says. "Why are you guys so loud?" he asks. "We're angry," you explain to him. "Why?" "Some kid hates me just because I'm a muggleborn," Matilda said. "Is he blonde and a Slytherin?" Neville asked you. You both nodded. "That's Malfoy," he said. "Who is he?" Matilda asked. "His family is pure, like mine. The difference between my family and his though, is that his thinks that they are better than anyone because they are purebloods," he explains. "You're a pureblood?" you ask him. "Yes, why?" he asks. "No particular reason," you say. "Yeah, no reason," Matilda said with a wink. "Shut up," you told her.
  10. “Anyway, what are you girls doing out here? Shouldn’t you be in a compartment?” he asks you. “We can’t find any empty ones,” Matilda explains to him. “I’ll help you,” he said cheerfully. The two of you follow him. He knocks on a compartment that isn’t too far away from his. A girl opens the door a little bit. “Hi Neville,” she says. “Do you have any more room for one more person?” he asks her. She turns around and looks. “I guess we have room for one more person. We’ll have to squeeze but we’ll manage.” She opened the door all of the way. You Neville, and Matilda walked into the compartment. “I’m Hermione by the way,” she says. She sits down. There are 3 other people in the compartment. There was a professor (who was asleep), a red-headed boy, and a boy with black hair. You look at Matilda to speak to her, and you notice she is staring at the boy with black hair. “Matilda, do you want to sit here?” Neville asks. “Sure, I wouldn’t mind,” she said while still staring at the boy. “This is Matilda,” Neville said pointing to her. “And this is _____,” he said pointing to you. “They’re transfers from America, but _____ came from Australia before she moved to America.” “That’s right,” you say proudly. “It’s nice to meet you,” Hermione says. “Same here,” you say. She points to the red-headed boy. “This is Ron Weasley.” “It’s nice to meet you,” he says. She then points to the boy with black hair. “I’m Harry, Harry Potter,” he says.
  11. “I knew it!” Matilda said excitedly. “Knew what?” You asked her. “That he was Harry Potter! I saw his eyes and I was thought, ‘He looks really familiar.’ Now I know for sure!” she explained. “So you’re sitting here?” Neville asked. “Yep,” she said while taking a seat. You turned to Ron. “Are you related to Fred and George?” you asked Ron. “Yep, how did you know that?” he asked. “They carried her books to the Leaky Cauldron for her,” Matilda told him. “You’re lucky, they never do that for me,” he said sadly. “Well, best be off. I need to find a compartment,” you tell them. “See you later,” Matilda said as you and Neville walked out.
  12. Hermione closed the compartment door and Neville turned to face you. “I offered to carry your books for you that day in Diagon Alley, but you said no. Fred and George asked to carry your books and you said yes. Why is that?” he asked you. “I thought you might be busy because you were running. They walked up to me and wouldn’t take no for an answer,” you explained to him. “Oh, that’s ok I guess.” “Where am I going to sit?” you ask him. “You can sit with me I guess,” he said. He continued to walk and you followed him until you reached the compartment. There were two other girls sitting there: a red-head and a blonde. “Is it ok if she sits with us?” Neville asks the girls while pointing to you. They exchange glances. “Sure, it’s fine by me,” the blonde said. “Me too,” said the red-head. “Thank you,” you say to them while entering the compartment. You take a seat. “I’m _____ by the way, I’m a transfer from America even though I’ve lived in Australia for most of my life,” you say to them. “I’m Luna Lovegood,” the blonde girl said. “I’m Ginny Weasley,” the red-headed girl said. “I’ve met 3 of your brothers,” you tell her. “Really? Which ones?” she asked you. “I met Fred, George, and Ron,” you told her. “Well, you’ll meet one more this year, and that’s Percy. He’s a prefect.” “That’s cool, what about you Luna?” you ask her. “My father makes The Quibbler. It’s quite interesting. You should read it sometime _____,” she tells you. “Ok, I definitely will read it,” you say excitedly. "I'm in Gryffindor," Ginny says. "I'm in Ravenclaw," Luna says. "Cool, I like both of those houses," you say. The four of you talk about your daily lives when the train suddenly stops.
  13. “What was that?” you ask. “I have no idea,” Ginny said. “This doesn’t usually happen,” Neville said. “Has the train broken down?” you ask. “I don’t think so. They would’ve been able to fix the train,” Luna said. Suddenly, the windows began to freeze. “Ok, I’m going to see if the windows are freezing in the other compartments,” you say to them. “What if it isn’t safe?” Neville asks. “Relax Neville, I’ll be fine,” you tell him. You open the door, step out, and then close it. You walk down the hallway and realize that everything is frozen. You turned around to walk back to the compartment when something grabbed you.
  14. You screamed as loud as you could while whatever grabbed you pulled you into a compartment. “Keep it down. You’ll scare everyone else,” said a familiar voice. You turned around and saw two people you wanted to see. “Fred! George! It’s good to see you!” you said as you gave the both of them a hug. They returned the hug and you let go. There was a new face staring down at you now. “_____, this is Oliver Wood, the captain of the Quidditch team. Oliver, this is _____ _____, a transfer from America who is Australian,” Fred said. “It’s nice to meet you Oliver,” you say to him. “Same here,” he says. You all turn your heads towards the door for some reason and you see something pass by. You realize it’s a dementor! It opens the door, and you have your wand out ready. It looks around for about 10 seconds, then turns around and walks away. George closes the door. “What was that?” he asks. “I have no clue,” Fred said. “It was a dementor,” you said calmly. “How did you know that?” Oliver asks you impressed. “My mum used to tell me about them when we were living in Australia,” you explain. “Well, I better get back to my compartment. They might be worried about me.” “See you at school,” the three of them say to you as you walk out of the compartment.
  15. You went back to your compartment. “What happened? We heard screaming,” Ginny said. “That was me because of your brothers,” you told her. “What did they do?” she asked. “I was walking and they thought it would be funny to grab me and pull me into their compartment,” you explained. “That’s mean,” Luna said. “Well, we’re glad nothing bad happened to you,” Neville said relieved. “Other than that, I was perfectly fine,” you said to him. “We better change into our robes since the train isn’t moving,” Ginny said. “I’m fine with that,” you say. “So am I,” Luna said. The three of you changed your robes and got some food from the trolley. They went ahead of you so Ginny could give some food to her brothers. As you walked back to your compartment, someone tapped you on the shoulder.
  16. You turned around to see that it was the blonde, Slytherin boy who insulted Matilda earlier. “Hi, how’s it going?” he asks you. “What do you want?” you ask him. “Nothing, just being friendly. I’m Draco Malfoy by the way,” he says to you. “Friendly? Earlier you insulted my best friend because she was a muggleborn,” you said. “That was only because I have a reputation to keep,” he explains. “A reputation of being a jerk?” you ask. Just then, Ginny and Luna appeared. “Malfoy isn’t bothering you is he?” Ginny asked. “You have no right to be in our conversation you filthy blood traitor,” he sneered. “Ginny, don’t even bother wasting your breath on him,” you said to her. “Yeah, let’s go,” Luna said. The three of you walked away from him and entered your compartment when you reached it.
  17. “What is his problem?” you ask when you sat down in your compartment. “What is whose problem?” Neville asks. “Malfoy,” Ginny says with disgust. “I mean, first he insults my best friend, then he tells me he’s being friendly, then he insults Ginny and expects me to like him!” you say angrily. “How did he insult Ginny?” Neville asks you. “He called me a blood traitor,” Ginny said. “I told you _____, he thinks he’s better than everyone else because he’s a pureblood,” Neville says. “So he doesn’t make fun of you then?” you ask him. “No, he does. He thinks I can’t do anything,” he says sadly. “He also hates anyone who is a pureblood but likes muggles and muggleborns, that’s why he called me a blood traitor,” Ginny said angrily. “Yet he’s nice to me and he knows I’m friends with muggles and muggleborns,” you say confused. “That isn’t like him,” Luna said. The train then began to move again. “The train is moving again,” Luna says. The 4 of you began to talk about weird things until you got to Hogwarts.
  18. You all got off of the train. “You better go with Hagrid,” Ginny said. “You’ll be sorted if you go with him,” Luna explains. “Alright, I’ll see you guys later,” you tell them as you walk towards the half-giant. You see Matilda and Charlotte and walk with them. “How was your train ride?” you ask them. “I loved mine!” Charlotte said excitedly. “Me too!” Matilda said. “I did too,” you say. The three of you see Hagrid and walk up to him. “Hi, we’re transfers from America. We were told to go with you,” Matilda said. “Oh, you’re the transfers. Yep, come with me,” he says. You, Matilda, and Charlotte follow him to the boats. You ride in the same boat and look at Hogwarts. “Wow, that’s amazing!” you say. “I know, I can’t believe we’re going to stay here for like 10 months!” Matilda whispers. You finally get to the castle. Professor McGonagall tells you and the first years about the houses. You follow her into the Great Hall. You see Oliver, Fred, and George first. You wave to them and they do the same. You then see Harry, Ron, and Neville. You wave to them too. They do the same. “Good luck,” Neville says. You look to the Ravenclaw table and wave at Luna. You see Draco but you just ignore him. “We will now sort our new students. We will start with our three transfers from America,” she tells everyone. “_____ _____,” she calls. You walk up to the chair. She places the sorting hat on your head. “Eh, difficult. I can see you’re smart and nice, but you have a seed of bravery. I’ll put you in, GRYFFINDOR!” the sorting hat says. The entire Gryffindor table cheers as you walk towards it, including, Harry, Ron, Oliver, Fred, George, Neville, and Ginny. You take a seat next to Neville and Ginny. You look over at the Ravenclaw table to see Luna cheering as well. You glance over at the Slytherin table and see Draco looking disappointed. “Matilda Hunter!” Professor McGonagall calls. She places the sorting hat on Matilda’s head. You look at her as the sorting hat is talking. “GRYFFINDOR!” it calls out. The table cheers again. You see her walking down to the table relieved. She takes a seat next to Harry and Hermione. “Charlotte Watsford!” Professor McGonagall calls out. Charlotte walks up to the seat. Professor McGonagall places thee sorting hat on her head. You are talking to Neville quietly when you notice that Oliver is staring at you. You turn away and continue talking to Neville. About a minute later, the sorting hat calls out her house and you stop talking. “SLYTHERIN!” it calls. The Slytherin table cheers as you and Matilda look at each other, shocked.
