i liv in illinois all my life, and i got the "youve heard of illinois" answer. No, i just dont pay attention in any history class because it doesnt matter. also most questions are about chicago

Your question on the last year the Cubs won the World Series is obsolete. Either this is an old quiz, or else you forgot that the Cubs last won the Series in 2016.

83% but that isn't too surprising as I've spent most of my life in Chicago and the quiz was very Chicago-centric.

I live about an hour outside Chicago and I got a 63%

Lived in Illinois my whole life and got a 68%...probably because I'm from SOUTHERN ILLINOIS and do not know every minor detail about Chicago!

I was born in Chicago but lived the majority of my life in Waukegan. and got a 73%..... I'm not sure I'm very knowledgeable in this though... I am still only 15.

Okay, I'm a native NYer, but I've lived in downstate IL for 18 years, and I had to guess a lot a still got 68%. I've been to Chicago a dozen times, and I agree with whomever said this quiz is really more about Chicago than the state. I think, based on the questions, I may know more about the state than the author of this quiz. Just like there's more to NY than NYC, there's a heck of a lot more to Illinois than Chicago.

What is a Saluki and who do they represent? There are tons of questions that can be made for the the 3/4 of the state that is not Chicago. I have lived here all my life and only been to Chicago a couple times and never left the train station or O'Hare when I was there.

I agree that the question about those 4 or 5 suburbs of CHI was over kill with just one too many questions about the big kahuna by the lake. Chicago draws nearly all of our tourism dollars and adds a lot of pizzazz to a state that would be like a cross between Iowa and Indiana if the city were elsewhere. But, most of our financial problems are also due to the need to feed, clothe, educate and nurse its real neighborhoods along. All the tourists go to Michigan Avenue or Wrigley Field or the museums. This is only a small part of Chicago and a very tiny, tiny part of the state of Illinois! I got a 93% and have lived here for all but 12 of my 67 years!!!

Scored a 98%--I guessed about the band Cheap Trick. The other questions were not particularly difficult, although living downstate instead of the Chicago area would have nade it harder.

i got 45% but ive only been living in illinois for the 14 years i have been alive. and i dont know that much about outside of peoria

I, too, was very disappointed that after taking the quiz it did not show which ones were wrong. Need a page with the answers after taking the quiz. I did get a 75 and have lived in IL for 75 years.

I've lived in IL since 1974 and I got a 60%. Note to whoever created this "test". Chicago is not the only city in Illinois. When you want me to list the cities from north to south and they are ALL suburbs of Chicago there is a problem. How many questions could you answer about anything south of Chicago?
