Daniel responded "Yes, hiding the horse would be advantageous to us. But where do we put her?"
-
Claire began walking away so Cassady had to grab the reins and pull her back. "I don't know. This place used to be full of ruins. But I guess they broke down to nothing but piles of rubble over time." Cassady replied.
-
Daniel saw a dead golem sticking halfway out of the ground. He said "Why not hide there?"
-
(How big is the golem?)
-
(About the size you'd expect a large city building would be.)
-
(Oh geese.)
Cassady saw it and her jaw dropped in shock. She thought that Golems were pig. But she thought they were twice the size of a human kinda big. Not the size of a building big! How did she not notice it earlier? Cassady got Claire to follow as she walked over to it. "Okay. That will definitely do." She replied. -
Daniel said "This thing looks like it's been dead for quite some time. I'm sure it won't awaken. We just need to figure out how to get in."
-
"Leave that to me." She replied, walking over to it. Once she got there, she held up a finger. The tip of her finger began to spark until it turned aflame. The flame turned blue as Cassady took out her sword. She soaked the sword in blue flame, kinda doing a dance with her fingers as she did so to show off. Soon the sword was hot enough to burn through the metal. Cassady took a deep breath, then lifted the sword. With lots of strength, Cassady stabbed her sword into the metal. Then she began to carve out a door.
-
Daniel looked at the golem, wondering if it was really dead. As Cassady was busy cutting a door into it, it never moved. Daniel was relived it was really dead.
-
"You okay smart guy? You seem nervous." Cassady teased as she pushed open the door. "We can use this as a window to watch as well. And it won't be noticeable in the dark." She told him.
-
"I'm fine." Daniel lied. He was thinking again about his close encounter with a golem again. He shook his head and said "Hopefully we'll get him this time."
-
Cassady smiled and nodded. "It will be harder though. We can't block what he's trying to get. We have no materials to create a safe fire. We have little resources for distractions. We have no one to help us, in fact we have the citizens against us. And the feild is much bigger, making it easier for Mordac to illude us. We are at a major disadvantage this time. Last time we had the advantage, and he still got away." Cassady sighed.
-
Daniel said "We'll think of something. Don't worry."
-
Cassady raised an eyebrow at his suddenly comforting manour. She felt her cheeks get warm because of it though so she looked away and ignored it.
-
Daniel entered the golem and looked at it's inner workings. It was full of metal pieces and bit he didn't understand, all with strange markings.
