Alec looked concerned at this. "What's a last name? Is it important?" He didn't know too much, so the question puzzled the poor unknowing neko. He tilted his head to the side like a dog, his ears flicking cutely.
-
((Hnnnng I withdraw my character's last name it's Remington now it would be so cute if he got it from his owner ;3;))
Francis shrugged. "Kind of. I mean, most people have one. Do you want one?" He asked. "It's just a name that comes after Alec. Like, if it was my last name, it would be Alec Remington." -
(gasps awwwwwwwwwww)
"..I like that. I want that to be my last name." Alec's ears flicked once more, and he cling slightly tighter to the man. "Can I borrow your last name? And can I know your first?" -
"Alright, sure," Francis agreed, glad to see they were almost at his apartment building. "My first name is Francis."
-
"I like that name too! But.. Um.. What do you want me to call you?" Alec closes his eyes, thinking hard. At one point, some guy who came in wanted Alec to call him master. "I can call you anything you want, because I belong to you now."
-
"Hm? Uhm... Francis is fine." He knew the quesions that seemed odd to him were legitimate questions for Alec, so he wasn't going to bother laughing at them. They reached his apartment, so he set the neko down to get his keys out of his pocket and open up the door.
-
Alec swayed on his feet, leaning from side to side with eagerness. He had seen the outside, and now he was going to a whole new place! He wondered if Francis would like cuddling at every waking moment. That would be fun. But if he didn't.. The neko shrugged it off, looking at the door. The keys caught his attention. "Shiny!"
-
Francis nodded as he unlocked the door. "Mhm, they are." He opened the door to his apartment; it was small, with only four rooms. A bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom. It was also rather sparsely furnished. His living room had one small couch to fit two people at most, and a television on a cabinet. That's all they could see from the door. "You can do whatever you want in here, as long as you don't break anything. Okay?"
-
The neko ran into the room, staring at everything that he could possibly stare at. His eyes were full of awe and eagerness and curiosity. "What do you call that?" He pointed at the television. It looked like a big shiny box to him. "Is it a toy? It's shiny, just like the small shiny things you had that magically opened the door."
(innocent neko questions
always for the win) -
"That's a television, you watch programs and movies on it," Francis chuckled, shutting and locking the door behind him. "Those were my keys."
-
"What're those?" Alec asked, a puzzled look on his face. He walked over to the television, pressing his face against it. "I don't see anything. Do you have to scream at it to make it work?"
-
"No, no, here, I'll show you..." Francis sat down on the couch, kicking off his shoes. "Sit down here, first, you shouldn't sit so close when it's on."
-
Alec slowly walked over, sitting next to the other in the space that was left. He had a puzzled little face. "Why can't you be close to it?"
-
"It's bright, so it might hurt your eyes." He picked the remote up off the arm of the sofa, and turned the television on. The default channel was the cooking channel, but he changed it to cartoons instead.
-
"Woah!" Alec's eyes widened as he stared at the moving screen. He wanted to hug ALL of the things on there! His tail flicked back and forth as his eyes followed all of the characters on the screen. "Are they stuck in there forever?"
