Our "When Will I Die" Quiz?

  1. Alec was sitting there, looking in at me. He didn’t say anything, just watching my expression change from stressed out to a cold-hearted b----. Mainly because this was the last thing I needed to deal with right now. I walked over to my stereo and turned it down. Then I walked back over to the window. I crossed my arms blocking his way inside. “What the f--- do you want?” I asked, about to blow a gasket. “I just wanted to talk,” Alec said, resentful. “That’s why you showed up at my bloody window instead of my front door,” I sneered. Alec winced. “You wouldn’t have answered the door if you saw it was me outside, so I chose the easy way.”
  2. “Get the hell out of both my life and my house before I shove you off of the windowsill.” “Erica, be serious.” “Oh I am,” I shot back, and then I yelled, no screamed towards the door of my room “JASON!!” really loudly. I turned back to Alec. “You have exactly two seconds to get out alive, otherwise I’m going to castrate you myself,” I advised. By this time, I could hear Jason’s feet pounding up the stairs and down the hall towards my room. There was a faint beeping of my keypad outside the door and the click of the lock coming undone. Alec put his head in his hands. “Erica, this could’ve been so much easier. I really don’t feel like fighting him right now.” Jason came in, the scariest look on his face that I’ve ever seen, and I’ve known him since kindergarten.
  3. “What the f--- is he doing here?” Jason snarled. “He’s just leaving,” I replied, starting to shut the window. “I know you’re engaged,” Alec blubbered out. This caused me to stop dead in my own tracks. I looked over at Jason, who was glaring at Alec fiercely. Alec was gazing at my left hand, the one in which my ring was on. Here comes drama. I paniced. “You can’t possibly know,” I started to pace my floor. “Because if you know, they know. And if they know we’re fu-“ I was interrupted by Jason.
  4. “Fine, we’ll be fine.” Jason took my hand, trying to calm me down, which didn’t work. “Fine?” I shouted. “How the hell are we going to be fine? As soon as everyone and their grandma knows, it will be horrible, because the age thing mostly. This is a freakin’ disaster. Nothing could ever be worse than this. Do you have any idea what kind of controver-“ I was interrupted once again, this time by Alec. “I’m not going to tell anyone Erica,” he said quietly. I whipped around towards him and looked at him sinisterly. “Don’t kid yourself. If it wasn’t for you, I would be perfectly fine with all of this. But no. You put me through an eight-month depression, so I don’t think you have the right to speak to me about not telling anyone. Everyone already knows what you did, let alone to me. Now get the f--- out of my house and if you ever come back, don’t think I won’t hesitate to shoot you,” I said, my temper finally exploding into a million jagged shards of glass. I was tired of his crap…if you couldn’t already tell.
  5. He looked hurt by what I had told him. Oh well. It wasn’t like he hasn’t hurt me before. He climbed back out of the window and looked at me one last time. He jumped from the tree that he used to get up to my window. I sighed. “Are you alright?” Jason asked, wrapping his arms around me. I nodded. I heard Aunt Lisa coming up the stairs so I wiped my eyes and doused my eyelashes in mascara.
  6. Two weeks later I had a scary dream tha I was standing in the middle of a crowded room. I was screaming at the top of my lungs and nobody looked up except for Jason and Alec. Jason was looking at me like he normally does, all loving and such. But Alec was looking at me like a wolf would its prey. Then Alec’s devilish stare started sucking me into a black portal. It felt as if I was falling, falling into an endless pit.
  7. I woke up in a hot sweat. I couldn’t tell where I was at first. It was dark and I saw lumps on the floor, surrounding me. Then it dawned me. Duh. I’m an idiot. I was over at Jason’s, with all of our friends having a sleepover at his house. I looked around and realized we were camped out in Jason’s room. I glanced at his clock. It read 6:21 am. Forget this, we barely went to sleep a little over an hour ago. I flopped down beside Jason and closed my eyes. “Are you alright?” Jason asked, whenever I was wrapped in his arms again.
  8. “Yeah, just a bad dream.” I whispered back. “Will you two shut up?” Conner whined quietly, shoving his head under his Ninja Turtles pillow. I threw my pillow at him and snuggled back up to Jason’s chest. About thirty seconds later, I felt a pillow thrown at my face…quite hard at that. It was then that I started about a 30-minute pillow fight. When things died back down, Jason took my hand and led me into the livingroom so we could watch the sun come up.
  9. Ashley and our friend Schelby Corley ended up passing out in the livingroom before the rest of us did so we had just left them alone. Jason and I curled up on the couch and watched out the window. “Why do you love me so much?” I murmured faintly. “Having second thoughts?” he whispered. I actually had to think about it for a second. Nope, no second thoughts at all. “Its just, now that I think about it, there were only a few moments that I can remember that really mean anything to the both of us, before we got together.”
  10. Jason sat up and pulled my face close to his. “There have been a thousand moments. They’re like…a bag of tiny diamonds,” he told me. “It doesn’t matter weather they were real, or things I made up. The shape of your neck, that’s real. The way you felt under my hands when I kissed you, that’s real.” I couldn’t breathe. The words that came out and hit me as if I had just run into a brick wall. I couldn’t look away from his alluring eyes. So I went with my heart, praying that my mouth wouldn’t overload my brain. “But you were so quiet,” I replied softly. Jason smirked at the remark. “And you were so very unobservant.” I felt my face go warm. “I feel like the tray on my head that I’ve been balancing all my life has just toppled over,” I said, sighing. There was a moment of silence; I thought Jason had fallen asleep. “That kiss,” he whispered, very quietly. Well, forget that thought about sleep.
  11. This was beginning to sound like Cold Mountain. There was rustling and moving on the floor where the girls were. Schelby sat up. Oh, here we go. “Number one, shut this door, its freezing,” Schelby said, referring to the front door. “Number two, shut that door it’s freezing.” This time, she was talking about the bedroom door. And the whining went on. “I was laying on my back, my fingers poked in my ears, trying to shut out who’s got a bag of diamonds, who’s carrying your tray.” She was heading towards the room where everyone else was.
  12. She carried on before she went into the room. And I was beat red the whole freaking time. “I sware, if you wanna get three feet up a bull’s ass just listen to sweethearts whisper to one another.” Jason almost laughed out loud. I buried my face in his chest, hiding in horror. This was so embarrassing. “In fact, if you guys are gunna wimble-wimble all night, I’m gunna sleep in with them,” and she slipped into the crowded room. It went really quiet after that, to the point where you could hear the crickets chirping, and the clock in the hall ticking. Then I erupted into a fit of silent giggles. The sun finally came up and I fell asleep in Jason’s lap, my head against his chiseled chest.
