Paranormal Love (part 32)

Hi guys, welcome to part 32 of my Paranormal Love series. I had fun writing this part. :) AHHH! I gotta type fast before the retarded parental controls kick me off!

This is the part devoted to Ethan. Hope you guys like it. Rate, comment, blah blah blah. Here's a recap: you and Nick got caught in the rain, kissed, and went inside.

  1. "You two might want to go change, it looks like you guys just walked through a waterfall." Chris says. "Alright, I was planning on it anyway." you say. You are about to go upstairs, but you get distracted when Nick takes off his shirt in front of you and Chris. You try to make your eyes go anywhere but Nick's tan six-pack, but your eyes have other plans. Chris rolls his eyes and smiles a bit. "I didn't mean here, you idiot." he says. Nick just smirks at him, and then gives you a flirty glance. Nick flips his wet hair a bit, causing little drops of water to fly everywhere. Then he walks past you and goes upstairs. "So, when did Nick become a stripper?" Chris asks when he was sure Nick was out of earshot. You just smile, shrug and go upstairs as well.
  2. ***TIME FORWARD*** 3 days later. Right now, it's the middle of the night. You find yourself walking around in this run-down neighborhood. The houses all look old, abandoned, and possibly haunted. The night is cold and cloudy, and the only light you have are the dim street lamps. You have absolutely no idea how you got here, or where exactly "here" was. You had an uneasy feeling, like you were being watched. A freezing cold breeze hit you, causing you to shiver. You were cold, alone, and scared. And yet you kept going. You know you are searching for something, although you can't remember what it was. But it seemed important enough to keep you walking. You keep walking for a few minutes, when all of a sudden, all the dim street lamps start to flicker at the same time. You watch with wide eyes. Then all the street lamps turn off completely... all but one off in the distance. Without really thinking, you begin walking twords that street lamp.
  3. As you get closer to the street lamp, you notice there's something (or someone) under it. You soon discover that it is a person. They're wearing a black hoodie, ripped up jeans (mostly blue, but also kind of red) and they are lying on their back. Kind of a weird place to take a nap... wait a second, this person wasn't taking a nap! You feel compelled to rush over to the person, and see if they're okay, so that's what you do. Now you've gotten even closer to this person, you see they look pretty bad. Their jeans and hoodie are blood-stained and appear even more ripped up close. The person's hood is up, and their head is turned away from you, so you can't see thier face. "Jeez, I wonder what happened," you think. "Hey, are you okay?" you say in a voice that's a teeny bit louder than your normal speaking voice. The person doesn't respond or even move a muscle. You kneel down on the pavemnt and take the person in your arms. The person has broad shoulders and is muscular, so you now know that they are a guy.
  4. He feels cold. You turn the guy's face twords you and take off his hood. You gasp in terror when you find that the guy is Ethan! His eyes are closed and his face is bruised, scratched up, and paler than usual. There is some fresh blood around the corner of his mouth, and even more blood slowly dripping out of the three distinct slashes in his neck. "ETHAN!" you scream with your heart accelerating dangerously fast. "ETHAN! WAKE UP!" You shake him, but he doesn't respond in any way. You put your ear to his chest... no pulse. "NO! This can't be happening!!!" you scream as you feel a tear run down your cheek. "Ethan can't be...dead."
  5. "ETHAN!!!!" You accidentally scream out his name as you wake up feeling paniced. You look around to see the familiar surroundings of your room. "Oh, whew. It was just a dream. Thank god!" you say to yourself. Just then, your door opens, it's Ethan. "____, are you okay?" he asks, with a look of concern in his bright blue eyes. The moonlight coming in from your window shines on Ethan's face, his flawless, perfect face with no bruises or blood. You breathe a deep sigh of relief. "I am now." you reply. "What happened?" Ethan asks. "I had a nightmare." you reply. "Would you mind staying here?" you ask, letting the words leave your mouth without your brain telling them to. "I wouldn't mind at all." Ethan says and closes the door behind him. You sit up in bed and Ethan sits down next to you. "So, you wanna tell me what your nightmare was about?" Ethan asks. You nod and begin explaining the dream. "For a second there, I thought I had actually lost you, Ethan." you say, on the verge of tears. Ethan pulls you into a tight hug. "Shhh, it's okay. It was only a dream." he says, rubbing your back. "I know, I know." you say. "But it felt so real." Ethan hugs you tighter and kisses you on the neck briefly. Although the kiss was short, it packed a huge punch. You felt your cheeks burn, and you were glad Ethan didn't see that. You and Ethan lie down and you soon fall asleep in his arms. You weren't bothered by any more nightmares.
  6. Instead of waking up to sunlight hitting your eyes, you wake up and see that it's grey and stormy outside again. Not that you minded, though. You like rain. You find yourself lying on your back. Ethan is lying next to you on his side with one hand resting on your stomach. His face is mostly burried in the pillow. You turn to your side, facing Ethan. "Wake up, sleeping beauty." you joke and lightly shake his shoulder. Ethan opens his eyes and smiles sleepily at you. "Alright, alright. I'm up." Ethan says, slowly sitting up. He stretches and puts his arm around you. "Well ____, what do you say we go get some breakfast. I'm starved." Ethan says. "Same here." you reply. You follow Ethan downstairs and raid a box of poptarts (your favorite flavor) while watching a show you both like. Allissa comes downstairs and sees you two eating. "Hey! Those are mine!" Allissa says. "Whoops, not anymore." you reply smiling. Allissa laughs a little. "You two owe me a box of poptarts." She says walking away.
  7. "Hey, ____." Ethan says. "Yeah?" you reply. "Do you like seafood?" he asks. "Uh, I guess." you say. Ethan opens his mouth revealing a bite of chewed up poptart. "See, food!" he says. "Gross!" you say, although his joke makes you laugh. You take a bite of your poptart, "Hey Ethan, how does this look?" you ask and stick out your tounge revealing your own lovely bite of chewed up poptart. Ethan laughs. "Very sexy." he replies. You put your tongue back in your mouth and swallow your food. "Wow, we have to be the most mature people on earth." you joke. "Totally!" Ethan replies. You and Ethan focus back on the TV for a few minutes. "_____?" Ethan says. "No more see food, Ethan!" you say. He smiles. "That's not what I was going to ask you." he replies. "Oh, okay. What is it then?" you ask. "I was wondering if maybe we could do something fun today, like lazer tag." Ethan says. "Totally!" you reply. "That'll be so much fun! Let's go tell everyone." "Well, actually I was thinking it could just be you and me if that's okay." Ethan says. "Well, that sounds like fun too." you say. "Alright, awesome." Ethan replies grinning. His smile melts your heart. "Well, I guess we should go change out of our PJ's now." you say. "Nah... let's just go like this. I'm sure we'll attract lots of attention." Ethan says and winks. "Yeah, the chicks will be all over you with your purple plaid pajama pants and that shirt you borrowed from Anthony." You and Ethan laugh. "Oh you know you love it, ____." he says. You didn't want to admit it, but purple was a good color on Ethan, and you love that shirt of Anthony's. Allissa does too, it's her favorite. The shirt is yellow and has a red heart in the middle. The text (also written in red) says: I have a heart on. This shirt was so funny, you laughed every time you read it.
  8. You roll your eyes and go upstairs to wash your face, brush your teeth, etc...What do you wear?
  9. You put on your outfit and go downstairs to find Ethan waiting for you. He's wearing a cookie monster shirt, dark blue jeans, and black converse. You smile. "So you actually did decide to change." you say. "Yup. For you." Ethan says. "Also, I didn't want the ladies going crazy over my purple plaid pajama pants." he adds. You laugh. "Yeah right, well let's go." you say. You see that the sky has cleared up quite a bit, and the sun has come out, so you suggest walking. Ethan agrees. You guys leave the forest surrounding the mansion and end up in the same nice looking place that you and Nick walked to. You and Ethan are talking and joking around the whole way. You can't seem to take your eyes off Ethan's. Ethan's eyes made even the brightest, clearest, sunniest summer sky look dull in comparison. His smile was pure white, friendly, and contagious. His hair was a rich dark brown, and looked super cute. He was absolutely gorgeous.
  10. You and Ethan arrive at the lazer tag place and play lazer tag until you're both tired and your eyes are about ready to fall out. You and Ethan walk out hand in hand. "That was so much fun!" you say. "I agree! Even though I totally got my butt kicked." Ethan replies. "Don't feel bad, I didn't do any better." you say. You look ahead of you. The sun is just starting to set, and it looks really beautiful. After walking a little while longer, you and Ethan both notice an empty playground and stop walking. Ethan turns to you. "You thinking what I'm thinking?" he asks. You grin. "Yeah." you say. You both rush over to the swings and continue your conversation. At one point, you and Ethan's swings are moving right beside each other. "Don't look now, but it looks like we're married." Ethan says smiling. "Yeah, I guess so." you reply. "Hey, ____." He says. "Yeah?" "I bet I can jump out of this swing farther than you." "You're on!" you say. Ethan counts down from 3 and you both jump at the same time and end up in the same place. "Looks like a tie." Ethan says. "Yeah," you reply. Then you feel a burning in the palm of your hand. You see that you cut it when you landed on the gravel. You and Ethan stand up and you brush the little rocks off your palm.
  11. Ethan seems to notice. "____, did you hurt your hand?" he asks. "Yeah, a little bit." you reply. Ethan takes your hand and looks you in the eyes. "I know what will make you feel better." he says. Then he kisses your palm and the burning actually goes away! "Better?" He asks. "Yes." you reply. "Good." he says. Ethan steps a bit closer to you, and you don't break eye contact. He hugs you around the waist and you hug him back. It's hard to say what happened next. You could say that Ethan leaned in to kiss you, or that you leaned in to kiss him, or that it happened at the same time. Well, no matter what it was, it was still AMAZING. Ethan made you feel like a kid again, and yet so grown up.
