Our "When Will I Die" Quiz?

  1. You stand in the crowd, feeling claustrophobic and dizzy as your district escort slowly unfolds a white slip of paper, hastens to the microphone in the middle of the stage and reads out the name. It takes a moment for you to register the fact that your name has just been called. You. A tribute. The odds are most certainly not in your favour. You know that every pair of eyes, along with every camera, in the district square is trained on you. How do you react?
  2. You're on the train that is escorting you and your district partner to the Capitol. After you've finished taking in your luxurious surroundings and sampling the caviar and salmon, you finally sit down to talk to your district partner. S/he is tall, fairly thin and has light blonde hair. They seem strong enough, but you don't know what to think of them just yet. When they ask you if you want to team up in the arena, what do you say?
  3. It's your second night in the Capitol and it's interview time. Your stylist has fashioned you a gorgeous teal outfit that's even better than you'd ever hoped. Caesar Flickerman welcomes you to the stage, silences the roaring crowd, and invites you to sit down. You and your mentor have been going over your interview strategy for hours, so when Caesar begins the interview, how do you act?
  4. It's the second day of training and it's time for lunch. You've been running round obstacle courses and wielding swords all morning and you're famished. You walk into the dining hall, fill your plate with a generous amount of stew, potatoes and bread and make your way to the long table where all the other tributes are sat. You're the last one to arrive, and all the tributes are already sat in their own little groups. Where do you sit?
  5. The third day of training has finished, and now it's time for you to show off your new skills to the gamemakers. You sit nervously, waiting for your name to be called. A few minutes later, a voice booms over the intercom and you make your way onto the training floor. The room is yours - hundreds of weapons, countless ropes and paints and fake trees and climbing apparatus. The gamemakers watch you eagerly, trying to anticipate your next move. What do you do?
  6. This is it. Today is the day you go into the arena. You've said goodbye to your stylist, the one who made you look oh so wonderful the night you were interviewed by Caesar Flickerman, and now you're in the transparent tube being lifted up into the arena. You feel a sudden jolt, and then the soft sensation of stillness. You open your eyes, and even though it takes a moment for you to get your bearings, you realise that you're in the middle of a large field, surrounded completely by forests and mountains. The seconds count down, and before you know it the timer has reached zero and the Games have begun. It's safe to step off your plate, but where do you go?
  7. You've found your way out of the chaos at the Cornucopia - you're slightly wounded but it's nothing life threatening. You stumble through the woods for an hour or two and before you know it the sun is scorching and you're extremely thirsty. You come across a stream in the middle of the forest - what do you do?
  8. You're walking through the forest one day when you hear someone cry your name. You look around and see a girl and a boy. The boy is shaking violently, and it seems that he's been stung by tracker jackers. The girl is asking for your help - you know that the boy will die very soon if someone doesn't do something to help him. What do you do?
  9. It's early morning and you're sleeping in the nook of a tree. You wake to see a girl walking your way, holding a few bags of supplies and making an effort to befriend you. After talking for a while, the girl asks if you want to be her ally. How do you respond?
  10. The Games are drawing to a close - there's only five tributes left and you and your ally are feeling tense. You've known for a few days that you'll have to split up soon, and now you've finally built up the courage to say it. Your ally agrees, and after a few awkward moments you decide to gather up your half of the supplies and go. You've been on your own for a day or two when you come across your old ally in the woods. The alliance is broken and no one would hold it against you if you killed them. What do you do?
