toshiro twisted in the art and dodged the shoots before he darted forward and in front of the van, dragging his wing over the ground and creating a wall of ice

The van hit something. Sakura began to panic, not knowing what was happening. She heard many more shots.

toshiro snarled when he got hit and he lunged forward at the humans, ice claws forming on his hands as he tore one of there throats out

Sakura panicked even more as she heard a loud shouot and several snarls. A tranquilizer gun with what sounded like 50-caliber bullets was fired. Sakura held her breath, knowing that Toshiro couldn't dodge this one.

toshiro yelped in pain when he was hit and his dragon roared in anger before lunging down at the humans

Sakura heard Toshiro crash to the ground. A dragon's snarl later, silence. She heard another vehicle pull up and more men shouting. They opened the van door, throwing a limp and unconscious Toshiro in with Sakura. Loud sobs emitted from Sakura's wreck of a body as she saw blood pouring from a wound in his shoulder.

Sakura shrieked just as the men were about to shut the door. They knew what she wanted. They undid her bindings. She gasped for fresh air before rushing over to Toshiro, sobbing loudly again.

a thin layer of ice slowly spread over his wounds

Sakura brought her face up to Toshiro's, holding her breath to see if she could feel his. She sighed a sigh of relief when Toshiro breathed lightly. She buried her face in his neck, putting her arm around him and holding him tight as the van jolted into action.

Sakura bought herself closer to Toshiro, holding him tighter.

Sakura closed her eyes as she buried her face further into Toshiro's neck.
