toshiro woke up with a sharp yelp and tried to get away from her, his eyes glowing brightly

Sakura watched her brother scramble away from her. Her eyes glittered in worry. She sat still.

toshiro whimpered and hugged himself, trying to calm himself down

Sakura was confused. She shuffled closer to Toshiro and put her arm around him. She thought it best to comfort him before asking what was wrong.

toshiro slowly calmed down and hugged her back, looking around at the trees fearfully

Sakura lay her chin on Toshiro's head. "What's wrong?" She whispered

toshiro paused and then looked up at her "you cant hear them?

Sakura listened. She heard a few cracks of branches and the call of evening birds. "No..." She replied. She kept her arm around Toshiro, but moved her head to look around.

toshiro whimpered and looked around again

Sakura huddled closer to Toshiro. She yawned as the stars glinted happily in the sky.
