Todd nearly dropped his bow. "The ravens? What the hell is that?"

manders JuniorI was at the ravens laughing with some summer fey about mundane food, "yes alex it is peculiar to eat shrimp, they look so odd" then tossed my hair that was down to my hips straight and glistening in the moonlight, the air smelled of sakura and lust..i liked it alot.

I took a deep breath and allowed my hunter instincts to take over. I walked up to the spot where the fey vanished and studied it carefully. "Ah, I see." And I set off.

manders JuniorI was practicing my levitation skills : flying, jumping, vanishing and such when i sensed him "how nice of you to show up todd" i soothed and turned around grinning cheerfully.

I said nothing. I trusted no one. Especially feys. They were tricky. I sat down and a squirrel came up to me, curling up in my lap. I stroked him.

I studied the fey. She had a different air about her, almost... Trustworthy. "What kind of mission." The squirrel shifted gently to look at the girl.

manders Junior"To retrieve the stolen jewel of the downworlders: vamps, fey, weres, and yes even hunters...i can not handle a mission of such epic porpotion alone" i was telling him the truth..i wanted to start being trustworthy unlike most my kind, i took a deep breath "i need you"

I gave the squirrel an acorn and let him run up a tree. "And what happens if I say no?"

manders JuniorI looked up teary eyed "well simple, they jewels power our essences so going much longer without it, we all become weak and sickly then die" i got up "your choice though: live or die"

I pretended to consider that. "Sure, I'll do it."

manders Junior"Thank you todd" i hugged him and kissed his face then smiled "we leave at dawn"

I felt a strange surge when she kissed me, but I put it aside. "Where are we going?"

manders Junior"To the downworlder bridge" i restrapped my knife on my left boot and looked up grinning "it leads to where we need to go"
