"We have music. What is this thing? How does it work?"

"Oh, it's an iPod. It stores your music so you can listen to it anywhere. Here," he showed Ryou how to turn it on and navigate the playlist.

"Oh..." He fiddled with it carefully and ripped the headphones from his ears. "Too much noise!" He was unable to figure out how to turn it down.

"Oh, sorry. I like my music really loud." Zane reached over and pressed the button that turned the volume down. "It should be okay now. Sorry about that." He offered Ryou a weak smile.

"What is this song called, Zane?"

"Face Down by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. It's neat, huh?" Zane grinned. "You can read which song it is up at the top as well." He gestured towards where the song name and artist were listed.

"Okay." He scanned through the songs, not used to the strange sounds.

Zane sat beside Ryou, looking over his shoulder. It was interesting to see his reactions to different songs.

He stuck his tongue out at one. He didn't like it one bit.
