I'm back for a bit, if you're on.
-
Still here?
She nodded, and cntnued on her way. She kept straight, and turned right onto a small road with very few houses. Her's being the last. -
Hale pondered taking up the girl on her offer. He sat for a while, racking his mind over the matter. He finally stood up and walked the way she had gone.
-
She reached her front door, stuck her hands in her pockets, and found she'd left her key back at the resturaunt. Alicia sighed, and made her way around back to where she kept a spare in the porch light.
-
Hale continued down the road that he'd seen her go down. He stopped in front of a small white building. There were lots of identical ones around. He glanced down at te paper. All he had to do was match the symbols on the paper to that of the building. It shouldn't be too hard, right? With the impending darkness, it just might be.
-
She opened the back door, set her shoes on the mat, and made her way up to the attic. It was the one room in the entire house that she spent the most time in. Not her room, not the kitchen, not even the living room. The attic.
-
He glanced at the paper again. There was a vertical squiggle along with a straight line. This one. He found the match within ten minutes. He stood in front of the house, not knowing how to approach it. He saw a glowing button by the door. It was worth a try. He sauntered up to the front step and pressed the button. It let out a loud ring. The sudden noise made him flinch.
-
Just as she was bringing out the ladder, somebody was at the door. Seeing as no one else ever visited, she atomatically assumed it to be Hale. She smiled, walked back down the staires, and made her way to the front door.
-
He stated at the closed door, hearing someone come towards it. Hale took a deep breath. He was highly aware of the fact that he didn't belong here. He was nervous, lacking knowledge of this place did that to him.

*stared
My iPod's autocorrect is defective. -
"So you decided to come after all." she said after she'd opened the door. "Come on in, but leave your shoes on the mat. Dirt and I don't get along."
-
He nodded and followed her inside. He slipped his shoes off and placed them on the mat, as she had instructed. "I cannot thank you enough," he said quietly, looking up at her.
-
"Don't mention it." She started up the stairs, motioning for him to follow. "This is the guest room. There's a bed and a couple of my dad's old clothes, you look about his size."
And I take my leave D: See you tomarrow? -
Yes, quite possibly. I have drama club until six, so we'll see. Bye, Hattie!
Hale followed her up the steps and to the doorway of the guest room. He nodded and offered her a smile which he hoped expressed his gratitude. -
La~ :D
"I'll be up in the attic, just yell if you need me." she said, heading for the hallway closet.
