  1. 9:00 AM "Ughhhh," you scream in the car as your parents pull into your new driveway. You look up to see your new house. "Why do we have to live her?" you say disgusted. "Chill out. I'm glad we left Oakville. That place can be boring sometimes." Your little brother says. You just moved to a small town named Gwenville outside of Patriarch City. You had to leave your best friend behind so you felt sad and angry at the same time. The neighborhood was really nice and the house looked even better. It's a two story brown bricked home with a cute mini garden in the front. You walk inside and go upstairs to find your room. It's everything you dreamed of. There's even a balcony beyond the French doors. Even though you have this beautiful home you still couldn't find happiness. Your mom walks in holding two boxes. She looks like she's struggling so you help her carry them into your room. "Hey sweetie. Do you want to run to the grocery store with me?" she asks. "Sure mom." You say. If you look around town, maybe you can find something interesting. You didn't realize it yet but this day is going to be very interesting.
  2. 11:00 AM You and your mom pull up to the grocery store. "Hun, you should look around the other shops while I shop for food." She said. You nodded and walk across the street to a clothing boutique. You browse and decide to try on this blue cashmere sweater. You go into the dressing room and try on the sweater. You walk out and browse the store some more with the sweater still on. A store clerk kept eyeing you. You look from the corner of your eye and turn around to face him. "Can I help you?" you say. "Yes, are you gonna buy that or do you want me to call security." He says pointing to the guard to the left. Back in your old town, you got into trouble stealing a lot of clothes and jewelry. The girls in school used to joke and call you "˜the Hanna Marin' of town. The boys thought it was hot. That's one of the reasons why your parents thought this move was good for you. Your past town held a lot of bad memories because you were always in trouble. "Actually I was just about to put this back. It's not my style." You say with a little attitude. He walks away when he see a customer in need of help.
  3. You were about to walk back to the dressing room when something caught your eye. You looked out the boutiques' window and saw an older woman, about your mom's age, struggling to get her purse back from this tall man with a scruffy beard. He was wearing a dark red trench coat with nice looking trousers. He was fighting her until he pulled out a gun. Your eyes widened as you ducked behind a display case like a coward. He saw you and shot the woman. You saw the woman fall to the ground. You caught the man's eye and he aimed the gun at you and glass shattered as he pulled the trigger. He ran away.
  4. When everything was clear, you climbed out the window and bend down in front of the woman. You felt something wet hit your knees. It was her blood. She moved a little and looked into your eyes. She handed you her wallet. "Please, give this to my son." She struggled to get it out as blood spluttered out her mouth. Your eyes teared up and you didn't notice the crowd surrounding you. You hear people whispering and staring. You scream, "DON'T JUST STAND THERE! CALL THE POLICE!!!"
  5. 12:30 PM The cops arrived. You sat on the sidewalk as your mom ran to comfort you. "Honey, are you alright!" she said worried. You were in shock. Three things scared you: first, you couldn't believe you just hid there while that woman struggled. I mean, there's nothing you could do right? Second, the man's face when he saw you. He looked ruthless and cold. You couldn't believe he grinned at you and actually pulled the trigger. Third, the blood and the woman's look when she handed you her personal belongings. You've never seen so much blood before. A hand touched your shoulder. You jumped a little but it was just the chief inspector. "Hello. My name is Inspector Maguire. Can I ask you a couple of questions?" he said. You nodded and got up. He asked you all the questions a cop would ask. When you were done, your mom asked can you leave now. "No mom there's something I need to do." You said. You've already explained everything to Inspector Maguire. So he's going to let you ride with two of his cops to the woman's son to give him the belongings. At first your mom disagreed but you're 19 so she knows you can handle yourself. Inspector Maguire signaled two cops over. One of them had short black hair and blue eyes. He looked like Wentworth Miller. "_______ this is Officers Milano and Pike." The inspector said. Pike has brown hair and blue eyes. He looks a lot like Chris pine. They were really young. They look like they were about 20 years old. The guys smile at you and shake you and your mom's hands. "Be back by dinner time." Your mom whispered in your ear. You rolled your eyes and walked to the police car with Milano and Pike. As you drove away, you looked down at your shirt, only it wasn't your shirt. It was the cashmere sweater from the boutique. You look back once at the crime scene at the crime scene and shrugged your shoulders. Besides, the shirt was covered in blood.
  6. "I feel like I've been arrested." You yell. "Pipe down sweetheart, we're almost there. We're just entering the city." Milano says. Pike is on the passenger side. The city looks way bigger than your own hometown. "Welcome to Patriarch City." Pike said with a huge grin on his face. You turn a couple of blocks and stop at a huge building. You walk inside the building and stop at the front counter. A young lady, about 22 years old, looks up at the three of you. She smiles at officer Milano and gives him a wink. You nudge him and he blushes. "How may I help you?" she asks. "We're looking for Chris Hartwell." Pike says. "Oh Mr. Hartwell is on the top floor." She says giving you the key. "Thanks" you say. The three of you walk into the elevator and push the button to go to the fourteenth floor. You breathed deeply and your hands are shaking. "Are you alright?" Pike asked. "Yeah I –"you were cut off by the elevator's "˜ding' noise. You walk into Chris Hartwell's living room. You were pretty surprised at what you saw.
  7. This dirty blond, brown eyed boy was making out with this black haired, blue eyed, half naked girl. They didn't even see you because he had his back against you and the girl was on top of the counter. "Gross" you said. "Hot" Pike said. You gave him a creeped out look. They both heard you guys and they quickly jumped. The girl ran into a room "Umm can I help you guys?" he said. You couldn't help but look at his shirtless body. He looked a lot like Chris Evans. "Hi I'm _____." You said. He looked at you with daring eyes. "What? Do you want my autograph?" he said. He seemed pretty cocky and full of himself. "Excuse me?" you asked. "Now I recognize you," Milano says, "You're that guy who made those hi-tech laptops and phones – Newwave Technologies." "Yes I did." Chris says. The girl walks into the living room. "Ok, so why did you interrupt us?" she said. "Well I have bad news for you," You said, "Your mom died." A blank expression I came over his face.
  8. "Maybe you should sit down." Milano says. Chris sat down with his head down on his knees. "How did she die?" he asked with his head still buried. "Um she was shot in her chest. I saw her." You said. Your voice was shaking. "I haven't seen or talked to her in two years." He said. He lifted his head up and you saw a tear fall down his cheek. You looked at that girl. She was texting right in front of you! "Are you gonna comfort him?" you ask her. She looked up at you and rolled her eyes. "Look, I don't have time for this. Sweetie can we go to the mall?" she said. You thought: *She was as ruthless as the man who shot Chris' mom. "What the hell is wrong with you?!?!!? You SLUT!" you were about to swing at her but then someone was holding you back. It was Officer Pike. "Calm down cupcake." He said. Chris walked up and grabbed the girls arm. "GET OUT!" he said. She walked out and gave all of you the finger.
  9. "Can you just please leave?" Chris said. "Yeah, If you need anything please contact Inspector Maguire at the police station." Pike said. You all go down to the first floor but you forgot something – the wallet. You told the guys to wait while you go back up to give Chris his mom's wallet. When you go back up to his open living room, you see a huge window open. *he's probably on the balcony* you thought. *wait a minute there is no balcony!* you ran and looked down the window. He didn't jump. "What are you doing here?" you looked to your right and saw him standing on the ledge of the building. "What do you mean? What are YOU doing on this ledge?!?" you said. "I just came up here to think." He lied. "Yeah right, grab my hand." You said. "I thought my mom gave up on me. But it was me who really gave up on her." He said. "Just give me your hand and we can talk about this!" you said reaching for him. *I can't believe I'm doing this.* you climb out of the window and onto a ledge. You were really afraid of heights. "GET BACK INSIDE." He yelled. "No, not without you." You said. When you looked down, you see hundreds of reporters and cops including Milano and Pike. "We're coming up!" Pike yelled. Milano and Pike ran up to the window. "Take my hand!" Milano said. You grabbed his hand and then you grabbed Chris' hand. You slipped on loose cement but Milano grabbed you. Chris entered the room after you. You noticed blood on your hands and when you looked at your right arm, you noticed a deep gash. You fainted.
  10. 6:00 PM Your eyes opened wide. The first thing you noticed was the gash on your right arm. Well, it wasn't there anymore. You have stitches now. You're lying on Chris' Ikea sofa. The second thing you noticed was four incredibly gorgeous guys. Four? Well you knew officers Milano and Pike and then there was Chris. Who was the other guy? "Pardon me" the guy says, "I'm Bryan Porter." You notice his doctor jacket and badge. "Did you do this to my arm?" you asked. "Yes" he had a British accent. "Wow" you said out loud. You felt stupid and embarrassed but that wasn't the end of it. Your family ran up to you and your mom gave you a huge hug and kiss. Your stomach turned. "Sweetie are you alright." Your mom hovered you. "Mom..." you grumbled. "We're gonna wait for you on the first floor ok." Here you are feeling embarrassed and Chris doesn't have a mom anymore. Inspector Maguire walked in. He turned to Milano and Pike. "Good work boys. I smell a promotion." He said. The guys high fived each other. You gave a satisfying smirk to them. "I'm extremely impressed," he turned to you, "you're a brave girl. And I heard you just moved here?" he said. "Yes sir!" you replied. "Well, we would love for you to join our team. You've become a good luck charm for the boys." he signaled at Milano and Pike. "I'm gonna have to sleep on it." You said. "I understand. Milano, Pike, and Porter will take you to get some grub." The Inspector left the room. "So, who's in the mood for Chinese?" Pike said. You all leave Chris' condo to get some dinner. "Hey Chris. We still need to talk." You said. "I know. When the time is right." Chris said.
  11. 7:00 PM As you ride in the police car with Milano, Pike, Chris, and Bryan you think: *How in the world did I end up meeting four hot guys in one day! Two immature cops, one cocky rich bachelor, and a sexy doctor with a British accent.* Maybe this city isn't so bad after all.
