  2. Alyssa's View I get a letter in the mail. It's from my weird elementary school friend. She says: I hope you can come to my house again, before we part up into middle school. I write back:
  3. I send the email to her. I am not using the useless envelope system! I see Layla wander into the room. She's younger than me by 1 year, so she's going to 5th grade.
  4. Layla's View Alyssa is back on the laptop, I see. I think I will go to lunch today. Myself!
  5. I walk to the tiny cafe. It sells salads and pasta. I order a lasagna special with salad on the side. As the waitress comes, I spot a guy without a shirt and wearing shades walk in. He is beefy and has tattoos all on his chest and down his arms. He is wearing shorts. I eye him suspiciously. I'm only 11! I don't want anything bad to happen to me.
  6. I peacefully eat my salad after it comes. He looks my way, I can tell. I slowly eat my pasta and munch on the kale. I drink some water, and I see that there is a green pebble shaped thing on my lettuce. I shrug and eat it with the salad. I mean, this isn't a mistake, right?
  7. I feel really sleepy and fall asleep. I wake up, and packing tape is stuck onto my mouth! There are tight rusty handcuffs around my hands and a rope secured around my thighs and down.
  8. The beefy dude wals around me. He smirks. "This is your new home. I hope you like it, servant!" I look around to see that I'm in a sewer. It is covered with ropes, with hanging towels on them. There's a few chairs and a table. A cooler is stored under the table and OKLAHOMA carved into the wall. 'Oklahoma? I was in Oregon before!' I think. I slowly nod my head, even though I didn't catch much of what he said.
  9. Alyssa's View I go out to see where Layla is... She hasn't been here for a few days! I go out from the house and leave a note for Mom. But when I go outside, someone closes my eyes and carries me away... Was it a mistake to set out for Layla? Or not?
