How Cliche Is Your Hero?

This is a quiz to test how cliché and/ or Gary- Sue your male character (hero) is. Though it still be used on female characters, but I'm going to create a female cliché test soon. Remember this is just for fun.

So, are you ready to see if your character is cliché? If he is so perfect or boring that your reader's will hate him? NOTE: If you are unsure if it's a no or yes on some questions or don't see an answer that fits your hero, choose the closest option.   38. Is the hero selfishly manipulative or sadistic (threatens self-harm, lies, blackmails, etc. In order to get his way)?

  43. Does he have more faults than strengths or more strengths than faults?
  44. Is he a Byronic hero (The Byronic hero is an idealised but flawed character exemplified in the life and writings of Lord Byron, characterised by his ex-lover Lady Caroline Lamb as being "mad, bad, and dangerous to know")?
