  1. Okay, well, to start off, I've got some things I would like to share with any readers who care about my plans for the future. For those who don't care, just skip down to the next question. Well, I've realized that I don't really have time to make these quizzes as detailed or fluid as I would like them to be during the school year, or I would still be stuck writing in college (in three years). So, I'm going to start speeding things up as best as I can, which means cutting out some things that don't really have anything to do with the guys. In that way, I think I can wrap this thing up by the end of the school year. But for those of you that would like to read something better composed and more well written, I'm probably going to post everything on Wattpad over the summer (when I have ample amounts of time), including the things I would leave out on here. That means I'll be abandoning my story on Wattpad for the time being until I finish on here. I really don't want to leave this series on GoToQuiz unfinished because I feel like I would be selling some readers short. Also, updates will probably be coming faster now. For those of you who read that long spiel, I'll get to the story now :)
  2. So...last time. Well, you spent pretty much the whole time recovering in the hospital wing. Oliver helped you to the castle, Professor Flitwick gave you a time turner, Cedric gave you some candy, Neville gave you some flowers, and Draco ended up in a hospital bed right next to you. You got out of the hospital after two days, and you returned to Hogwarts life again.
  3. My return to Hogwarts went very smoothly. I successfully used the time turner, attended the first classes of my third year, and moved back up into my dormitory without any issues whatsoever. As September turned into October, I seemed to be making a whole new group of friends. Since I had every single class with Hermione, the only other third year to have a time turner, I almost began to become part of the Gryffindor house as well. Harry, Ron, Neville, and Oliver quickly began to become my friends, but it also meant that I ran into trouble with Draco quite a bit as well, due to the rivalry between Gryffindor and Slytherin. I even saw Cedric from time to time, though not quite as much as the others. Soon enough, the first visit to Hogsmeade was approaching at an alarming rate.
  4. Everyone seemed to be excited about the upcoming trip, and it only made the fact that I was stuck at the castle worse. Padma promised to bring back a lot of Honeydukes and Zonko's back, but it only lifted my spirits a fraction. Frustrated with the constant chatter about the village, I headed outside for some peace. I had only just pulled out a book when a shadow fell over the page I was reading. I looked up a bit irritably. It was Oliver. "Oh, hi, Oliver," I said, closing the volume. "Mind if I sit?" he asked, gesturing to the place beside me. "Not at all," I replied, shifting over to make room. He sat down almost nervously. "I, uh, I was wondering if you would like to go to the Hogsmeade trip with me tomorrow," he said apprehensively, looking at me with wide brown eyes. "I would love to," I started off, and his face lit up for a moment, right before I had to crush his spirits. "But I can't," I finished. He suddenly looked embarrassed. "Oh, well, that's fine. I'm sure you have better things to do. Maybe next time," he said quickly, standing and disappearing back up the hill before I could explain any further.
  5. Feeling absolutely terrible about what had just happened, I went back up to the Ravenclaw common room and went to bed early. The next day, I didn't even bother to go down and see everyone off to Hogsmeade. I got up late and wandered around the castle a bit, intending to go to the library to finish up some homework. I descended a staircase absentmindedly, and then let out a small shriek and jumped back when one of the portraits came swinging out at me. My foot tripped on the step behind me and I caught myself with my hands. Harry's head appeared around the portrait, which appeared to be a sort of entrance to the Gryffindor common room. His eyes widened in surprise when he saw me lying on the stairs. "Cassandra? I'm sorry, I didn't know anyone was there," he said, helping me to my feet with one hand. "It's fine, I just wasn't expecting a portrait to swing out at me," I said with a faint laugh. He grinned. "Why aren't you in Hogsmeade? I thought I was the only one staying at the castle," he asked curiously. "I didn't get my form signed," I said quietly, looking at the floor. "Oh. I didn't either," he said, sensing the change of mood. The atmosphere became a bit awkward, and a long silence followed. "Well, I'd better go. Homework and stuff," I said lightly. He picked up on the excuse to get away and turned to go back into the common room at top speed, then switched directions. I watched with a slightly amused expression. "Wrong way," he mumbled with a slight blush, descending another staircase with a dazed look. I giggled slightly at the scene, and then set off to my common room.
  6. I entered my dormitory, and then opened my trunk, intending to get an old book I hadn't read in a while. Instead, my hand brushed a piece of carved wood. I pulled on it curiously, and I found myself holding the Hogwarts box my grandmother had given me as a birthday present. I couldn't believe I hadn't remembered it before, but I quickly set off where I had left off, working to open the two objects within. To my frustration, the locket wouldn't budge whatsoever, remaining as locked as if it couldn't open at all. Tossing it aside for the moment, I worked on the strange bronze ball for a time with the same results. I flopped back onto my bed with an exasperated sigh, tossing it towards the box absently. To my horror, the odd little ball rolled off of the side of the mattress and hit the floor with a loud bang. I immediately rolled off of my bed, expecting the object to be damaged. Instead, the ball slowly uncurled into a miniature bronze eagle. In a state of disbelief, I realized it had a tiny piece of parchment in its claws. I gently grabbed it, opening it with a certain amount of desperation. It read, "My daughter Cassandra, I'm so sorry I had to reach you in this manner. As your father, I can tell you that your parents are still alive, or should still be from the time I wrote this letter. I can't tell you much for fear of your mother finding out, but I will tell you that in time, the locket will tell you everything you want to know. Until then, keep Felix (the eagle) close, and know that I have never forgotten you. With love, your father." The note ended, and I read it several times before the words seemed to sink in. I gently tucked the note into my pocket, a bit frustrated with the small amount of information it offered. But one thing stuck with me. My parents were alive. I scooped up the eagle, which was apparently named Felix, and put him on my nightstand, a little dumbfounded with what to do with him. I didn't have to worry. He curled up into a ball again, and I put him into my pocket as well, remembering my father's advice.
  7. Soon enough, everyone arrived back from Hogsmeade and attended the Halloween feast. After a long, exhausting day, I collapsed into bed, ready to fall asleep without a second thought. It didn't turn out that way. After what seemed like a moment of glorious sleep, I heard Penelope Clearwater, Head Girl and Ravenclaw Prefect, yelling at everyone to go down to the common room. A few minutes later, the whole of Ravenclaw House was packed into the large, circular room, complaining loudly about being woken up. Penelope stood up on a stool for added height. "All students are to report to the Great Hall immediately. Sirius Black is in the castle," she announced gravely.
  8. With that news, everyone moved down to the Great Hall, and I found two squashy purple sleeping bags for Padma and I. As she went to find Parvati and Lavender, I spotted Harry, Ron, and Hermione sitting nearby and headed over. "Hi, Cassandra!" Hermione greeted me brightly, inviting me to sit down with them. Harry and Ron greeted me in kind. "So, as I was saying, I reckon Black is out to –" Ron stopped as if hit by a sudden realization. "How come you weren't in Hogsmeade?" he asked me, frowning. "I didn't get my permission slip signed," I said nonchalantly, trying to move the topic along. His eyes widened sympathetically. "If I had known that, I would've...well, I would've gotten you something," he said, a tinge of red reaching his cheeks. "I mean, like I did for Harry," he added hurriedly. I smiled. "I'm covered, but thanks anyway," I said, touched by the gesture. He grinned and pulled something out of his pocket. "Here, just in case," he said, tossing me a piece of candy. I popped it into my mouth with a smile. "Thanks, but you didn't have to –" my thankful comment was interrupted by a loud hiccup and a cough on my part, and it didn't stop. Hermione glared at Ron pointedly. "Ron! I swear, Fred and George are rubbing off on you!" she said angrily. Ron was laughing hard, but looked at me guiltily. "Do – what?" I asked between coughs. "He gave you a Hiccough Sweet," she said flatly. I quickly connected the dots. It was a candy that induced Hiccoughs. How nice of him. Ron looked at me with a faintly embarrassed look, and I glared back at him, taking a mental note to get revenge.
  9. After the hiccoughing subsided, I got up and found Neville, who was fiddling with his wand absentmindedly. "Hi, Neville," I said in greeting, coming up behind him. He jumped violently and sent a spew of red sparks shooting out of his wand, causing him to blush in embarrassment. "Oh, hi, Cassandra," he said, recovering from his initial alarm. He was still pretty nervous, but at least he talked now. "So what did you do in Hogsmeade today?" I asked, sitting next to him on the floor. "Oh, not much. Just went to Honeydukes and had a Butterbeer in Hogsmeade. And you?" he asked, looking up at me from the floor. I sighed and explained my predicament for what seemed like the thousandth time. "I didn't go. No permission slip," I said. He looked sympathetic, and a bit curious, but he didn't ask anything. That was one great thing about Neville. He never pried for information. "So...what did you think of the Puffapods in Herbology?" he asked, almost seeming excited about it. I laughed lightly. "Neville, I'm telling you, you're going to be a Herbology professor someday. You never shut up about plants," I said, giving him a small shove to show I was teasing. He went slightly pink, but assumed a thoughtful expression. Apparently, I had given him an idea. I stood up, deciding to return to my own sleeping bag. "I'll see you later, Neville," I said in farewell, leaving him to his fantasyland of plants and fungi.
  10. As I was walking back to my original spot in the Great Hall, I ran into a group of Slytherins. Literally. I was pushed away from the collision violently. "Watch it, Mudblood!" a sneering voice responded in the form of Pansy Parkinson. "You watch it, Parkinson," I said disgustedly, trying to push my way past. "Draco's still recovering, you know!" she said indignantly. I looked over at Draco skeptically, and he looked faintly embarrassed. "I doubt that," I said with a dubious snort, only infuriating Pansy more. I didn't know when I had started fighting back, but maybe hanging around with the Gryffindors was having an effect on me. She stepped closer, staring me down threateningly. "Pansy...it's not worth it. Let's go," Draco said, coming closer. She stepped back and rejoined the group. As they moved away, Draco stayed back for a moment. "Not bad, Levell," he said, looking almost impressed. I glared back at him stonily, but I was fighting back a smile. "Your girlfriend's waiting," I said, gesturing to Pansy, who was waiting impatiently just a few feet away, a murderous look on her face. "She's not my girlfriend," he mumbled quietly, but I just strode back towards my own sleeping bag. As I did so, the tiniest of smiles crossed my expression.
  11. *music826* Whew, that took a while. I actually got Ron in for once! I'm terrible with getting him and Harry in, so I was happy I crammed them in somewhere. I pretty much just made this up as I went, so I hope it turned out okay. I'm on a short break from school right now, so I'm hoping to get one or two more parts out before I go back. Also, this may or may not be the last time Cedric appears in the results. I don't really think he has much of a fan base, so I might just let him go for now if there are no protests. If there are, I'm pretty flexible with the story, so feel free to make suggestions. I love getting comments because it lets me know how I'm doing. Until next time :)
