So, for many months now I have been skipping breakfast most days. I do not feel that I need it and also have recently developed anorexia, meaning I skip lunch too and eat minimal during dinner (as much as I can without my parents suspecting).

Yes it does. If you truly want to lose weight fast, work out, and go Vegan but never ever skip a meal. In any diet, it's not good and it can lead to weight gain. I lost 10 pounds in my first week of just eating Vegan.
I used to be anorexic well I still am, I don't eat breakfast, lunch, and sometimes I don't eat dinner and I run 3 miles everyday and I hit the gym for and hour and a half and I went from almost a 2xl to a medium in three months, it helps trust me but just be careful
