Jack said to Margaret "When you travel a lot you get used to it." When she suggested cooking, he said "Sounds good to me. I'll eat pretty much anything, being a vulture and all."

Moonyoung overhears Margaret and Aysa. "I some have packs of meat, a tiny freezer full," Moonyoung says as she puts an arm around Margaret's shoulder and smiles excitedly. "Spices and seasons too, but you gotta promise you're a good cook."
Unnamed says "Hi!" then shimmies up to the branch Pheonix is on before petting them.
Kaiqen flies up past them and looks around. "This is a pretty big forest," She says with a disappointed sigh. Kaiqen knew they probably weren't gonna find anything. But just as she thought that, the last rays of the sun sinked and it became dark. Then, something incredible happened. Not that far away, some of the trees began to glow. It was a group of them, maybe 10 or so. -
Pheonix grinned and hopped in place " Hi Hi!" Sje cawed before noticing the trees "oh that looks fun, be right back" she said before taking off, shifting into a small wyvern before heading to the trees

Margaret smiled a bit. "I can't promise that I'm the best, but I've been told I make the best meatloaf. When we find camp if somebody wants to start a fire..." She trailed off then pouted. No, that won't do. She thought. I've never cooked over an open fire before...
Aysa stopped in her tracks and sniffed at the air. At least right now she still had her fox senses in her human form. And she could smell something on the air, something... different. "We need to stop. We should wait here until our scouts come back." -
(I'm at a loss this time for what to say. Y'all just skip me.)

(Sorry for the wait!!)
Kaiqen flies close by Pheonix as they near the trees. "We should touch down slowly, we don't know what to expect," Kaiqen whispers to them. As they got closer, Kaiqen could make out little glowing shapes flying near the trees. What were they.. they looked like.. "Fairies?" Kaiqen asks in surprise.
"Wait here? How boring, I'll die of starvation before I die of some random creature attacking me," Moonyoungs complains to Aysa. She looks over at Captain to check on Chlora, but it looks like she's out for the night.
Unnamed, without Pheonix there to entertain them, decides to jump down from the tree. They land right on Jack's head, like a terrified cat. -
Pheonix rolled her eyes at Kaiqen but slowed down, gliding down carefully
Captain frowned before he lifted a hand and focused, making a small orb of light to illuminate the area as it got darker -

Margaret shivered as the night got colder and darker. "Are we sure it's safe to stop? Maybe if we continue on a bit there's a nice town we can stay in, or-"
"Shhh!" Aysa shifted into her fox form, which was for once a useful change. "You're all being too loud. There's something out there."
