I am surprised that the quiz was written by Bill

Boeing. It dated to say the least. The Boeing

headquarters are now in Chicago, Ill. (Question 19)

The SST was known as the Super Sonic Transport,

Question 5 and that was not a choice for the answer)

not the super speed transport referred to in the

quiz. My late father used to babysit the SST

mockup in the Boeing Development Center and it

was called The Super Sonic Transport as it was

designed to exceed mach flight speeds. The Seattle

Super Sonics basketball team was so named because

the of the initial concept of the Seattle Boeing

SST.

I was born in Maynard Hospital in Feb. 1945, but

moved to a small rural farm in the Juanita area in

1950.

I did not know that an opposite to a Patches Pal

even existed.

DH (born in Seattle March 1961)and I (born Group Health October 1965) disagree about some of your answers. Together, we only scored 68%!

Just a few comments:
1. SST stands for Super Sonic Transport.

2. Boeing no longer is headquartered here, so there was no right answer there.

3. We didn't know the Mercer Girls question -- that was a good one!

I was born in Swedish Hospital on 11/28/1958, the questions are not valid because of some of the reasons stated in the above comments. I might live on Kauai, but my home will always be Seattle.

What the heck? I've lived here my WHOLE LIFE and I got 35%. Seriously, unless you take a 'ridiculous, ancient facts about Seattle' class these questions are impossible!

What are the answers? As far as I can tell, you are wrong on every one, based on my score. Holy smoke! SST, SUPERSONIC TRANSPORT. Boeing is not based in Seattle. What else did I get wrong here? Can't tell. WOrst quiz ever...the right answers MUST be displayed, or they are all suspect...

Seriously? Most of these questions sucked or had the wrong answer.

I only got 56% on this quiz, wha? I was born in the Group health building on 15th & Thomas in 1994,. I probably only got 56% since I'm young. Renton is the headquarters for boeing and Redmond is the headquarters for Microsoft

I'm a second generation Seattle native. We need a far better Seattle quiz here. This one is misleading and annoying.

And several of your questions were wrong.

Born 01-09-58 at Maynard Hospital in Seattle and I only make 73%? Too much odd trivia if you ask me.

54%. Born at Maynard Hospital 3/1936. Left Seattle 6/1954. Roosevelt High. Should have included a question on Ivar Haglund. (grin)
